Private matches will be used about as much as team chat in crucible. Everybody screamed for that and nobody uses it.

Well, you know, it's just the basic things that an online game like this SHOULD have.
-
We use team chat, mostly them asking me "what killed you THIS time." Also, played private matches last night. Most fun I have had in a while.

-
it will be used for tournaments imo
-
You must know nothing about this game or what the population of this game does. 80 % of people are doing private matches only cuz its fun. Almost every single stream is in private matches, there are like hundreeds of youtube videos about private matches already. If you dont play them, doesnt mean everyone else isnt.

The only time I play crucible is when I am with friends, so by default we are already in a party. Sure, in game chat is pretty much standard in just about every game I've played, but I can't remember the last time ive ever used it. Even in strikes i never see anyone use it. Probably because they figured the others have at least enough common sense to aim and shoot stuff.

You have to opt in moron also please explain the amount of videos I'm seeing with custom games
-
The problem with team chat, is that it is disabled by default and you have to opt in. Should be the other way around, then it would be used more.
-
You can go into the game settings and make it an automatic thing if you aren't with a fireteam.
-
That's what I do, but not everyone knows about it

Agreed, it was a bad move on Bungie's part. It should have been set to always on, but with a mute button.
