Now I guess the "majority of players" couldn't give 2 shits about them. Well majority, go fuck yourself. We wanted private matches since the beginning and bungie listened to us. Bungie always listens to us, but you're a bunch of sheep. We wanted a gjallarhorn sparrow, we got it. We wanted an exotic strangers rifle; we got it. We wanted a horde mode; we got it ( PoE ). We wanted an exotic kvostov; we got it. We wanted weapon skins; we got it. I can't comprehend how much this community complains. Get the stick out of your ass people. Bungie still loves us.
Everyone has been commenting "But OP what about important things like servers?" And the answer to that is easy. The game is from 2014 guys, it's pretty -blam!-ing old ( game wise ). The servers aren't gonna be the best, and Bungie can't update them without using a whole new net code. Just wait until destiny 2 and Bungie will more than likely implement dedicated servers; just to keep with the times. The next thing being that "SBMM is horrible, why don't they fix that?" And I too agree with this. However, players should still have the option to do skill based matchmaking. Thanks for the support and for the critiquing.

I guess the next thing to complain for is killcams
-
What are you even talking about? People that asked for custom matches played them out yesterday. I know I did.
-
?? I never saw anyone complaining??
-
inb4 ban from skipping Filter.
Just kidding, but in reality, once fans get somrthing they want in most games, they get hyped, then almost immediately calm down.
-
Who complains about private matches? You can finally have your non meta matches, fun game mode nonsense, easy montage editing, and more.
-
I want better matchmaking... when do we get that? Instead we get bs excuses and "tweaks" to SBMM. I want Bungie to look at Overwatch and realize that players WILL wait a few minutes for a more stable match.
-
I'd say the many if the ones that were the most vocal about having private matches left years ago. Yes, we have private matches now. But we have private matches years after people wanted them. Many of those people gave up and moved on.

Go and -blam!- yourself ya prick

Yeah, I could care less about custom games. Can't wait for RoI though. So close!

2014 isn't old, that is absolutely no reason. However I do agree Private matches were more essential than improving the servers, it's a means to occupy the community whilst the servers are fixed.

Where people get hung up, is that there a 1000 requests, for every 1 that gets fulfilled. So, much like people always do, they focus on what wasn't done. Now, I do agree that Bungie is trying to always make the game better. Of course they are. It would be bad business not too. But in.the grand scheme of things, most of it has been guns, or shaders, or sparrows. Private matches are the first thing I feel they have done to really listen, and it took two years, a mode that lets be honest, should have been there at the start, or at least within the first few months. The POE is a poor substitue for horde, but it is fun. But I also remember being told both year one expansions would feature a raid, then they changed that to do POE, and no it isn't a raid, I don't care what the shader kiosk says. Theu cancelled a raid for POE, so I won't call that listening. Now, again, I do feel like they are trying, and I do love this game. But they do need to step up their game. Fulfilling requests, for one of the most basic features 2 years later, is not trying hard enough. If they want the majority of players to.a adopt Destiny 2, they gotta step it up. If you.made it this far, I want you to know, I am not hating or anything like that. Just sharing my opinion as a fellow Destiny lover.

Edited by xXDeViouS v2: 9/14/2016 1:06:44 PMI very clearly remember Bungie trying to resell the entire game with TTK to players who had already purchased everything and one employee blantantly admitting so in an interview. I'd also like to add that the bulk of the weapons I paid for during year one has been reskinned and sold as DLC. The moment they announced no year two Gjallarhorn people there's been talk of it being sold to us for a second time in future dlc... Funny how that turned out. Bungie cares about your wallet. Nothing more. Edit:+ If Bungie cared about players they would not have screwed their loyal Halo fans.

Hopefully private matches will prove integral in the containment of the rampant autism that haunts the crucible.
-
Then the "oh ye we asked for this SOOOOO long ago" It's a valid point, but better late than never.
-
Private matches are way more fun than crucible. So much more. I'm actually surprised just how much more fun they really are.
-
I didn't ask for them, but I love them. Definitely going to use them to get better overall.
-
See all this complaining didn't happen in year 1 because all the nice players play, now we have people who sweat gallons apon gallons in a control game
-
Because life and most people can't get on every day
-
Was this necessary?
-
Rooster has to crow, bitcher has to bitch. It's why they get up everyday.
-
We wanted a good campaign, we. . . Oh wait.
-
My buddy and I collected most of the PvP map ghosts and then finished each map with a 1v1 no land only to 1000 points. Most fun I have had in destiny in a long long time.

The stick only comes out if I run out of ammo.
Gas powered stick, never runs out of gas.
I have a very bad feeling about private matches. There are already so many modes, some times you can't find enough players to do a decent game (recent ridiculous rift, 3 against 6). Private matches is going to make that even harder.

You have laid the bait. The morons are flocking. Next time dig a hole first. Allow the morons to fall in the hole. GG
