Now I guess the "majority of players" couldn't give 2 shits about them. Well majority, go fuck yourself. We wanted private matches since the beginning and bungie listened to us. Bungie always listens to us, but you're a bunch of sheep. We wanted a gjallarhorn sparrow, we got it. We wanted an exotic strangers rifle; we got it. We wanted a horde mode; we got it ( PoE ). We wanted an exotic kvostov; we got it. We wanted weapon skins; we got it. I can't comprehend how much this community complains. Get the stick out of your ass people. Bungie still loves us.
Everyone has been commenting "But OP what about important things like servers?" And the answer to that is easy. The game is from 2014 guys, it's pretty -blam!-ing old ( game wise ). The servers aren't gonna be the best, and Bungie can't update them without using a whole new net code. Just wait until destiny 2 and Bungie will more than likely implement dedicated servers; just to keep with the times. The next thing being that "SBMM is horrible, why don't they fix that?" And I too agree with this. However, players should still have the option to do skill based matchmaking. Thanks for the support and for the critiquing.

Edited by iMoto Bro: 9/14/2016 9:02:01 PMI cringe when I see posts like this. Complaining about complainers is the lowest form of complaint. And then saying completely ignorant things like "this game is pretty old and 2 years is a long time server-wise". No.... Just no. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. There are 10+ year old games with millions of players (World of Warcraft). You think they don't upgrade servers? Destiny has had millions of players over the course of the past 2 years. They've had to upgrade the servers as the number of registered users increases as well as the amount of content in the game. They've gotta put all that data somewhere. When the game goes completely offline for several hours, which is fairly rare but it has happened a few times, that means they're doing some sort of serious server maintenance or upgrade.

No matter how many good things are done for us by Bungie, their mistakes tend to shine the brightest. It really is sad
-
-
The majority didn't want them. Streamers and youtubers did. So 2%
-
I dedicated about 3 hours to wasting time with friends in friendly matches last night. We had a blast. Most straight up fun we have had playing Destiny in months.
-
Dedicated servers much?
-
OP woke up on the wrong side of the bed today.
-
My friend sent me an invite to mayhem rumble, it was just us, when he sniped me it was on *_*
-
Me and my friend got to do fun tests and test out builds. It was a lot of fun.

Took them like what two years to do so? Sad af no one wanted a ghally sparrow its to keep people from leaving which is why they also brought ghally back for y3 when they said it was broken.. Why would they bring something like that back into the game? Sales are going down, why do you think all of a sudden what we want is now in the game?? People aren't talking about this game positively.. You know what we got what we didn't want? Cut content we got it, shit servers we got it, terrible "balancing" we got it, a shit excuse of a game we got it, shit storyline besides cut content we got it
-
They must've missed the request for older strikes to be brought up to current levels. Has been for a long time. Would be nice since its the same ole grind at a certain point.
-
Still unable to figure out that this weapon balancing dosent work though everything else yeah great just wish bungie would stop with these weapon updates already

Edited by KalSkirata77: 9/14/2016 6:36:06 PMPoE is horde mode? Seems weak for a "horde mode" I would rather Bungie take a page from gears of war. Gimme 50 waves or more with a boss on every 10th wave and it will be a decent hoard mode. Be salty if ya want...this is just my opinion😉 Edited so I'm not a "God damn idiot" lmao!!!!! I apologize for using the good lords name in vain...just using a quote from a disgruntled guardian😉

Hahahaha BUNGIE loves us....hahahahahahah First off, the people who cared about private matches for the first year and a half were the minority because the majority clearly bought the game for PVE which is why the drop year to year is so significant. When bungie decided to focus only on PVP for nearly 2 year between DLC the majority of PVE people left as evidenced by the massive drop. Secondly, there were NEVER large groups of people asking for stuff like the stupid gally sparrow. Third, for a game that's ONLY purpose is grinding for loot and customization, things like skins shouldn't have even needed to be an ask! That's should have been common sense design. I don't see the reason to complain about private matches and I could care less about them personally, but I do find it funny and ironic that you call people sheep, and then make comments like bungie love us which sounds like a braindead fanboy comment, which is in fact more sheepish than those that complain!

2014 is no excuse for no dedicated servers. Look at BF4. 64 players with vehicles and buildings crumbling, yet it could run smoothly.
-
Prison of Elders is not a survival mode.
-
That's a pretty silly thing to say. If they listen, why not moan for more awesome stuff? :')
-
Edited by heckford09: 9/14/2016 4:36:20 PMThey won't ever put dedicated servers in this game cost too much money for them. they like to keep things cheap on there part.
-
Lol it's all I did yesterday and what I will be doing for the majority of Destijy when the DLC is dry. Get in a good clan and see why this is awesome.
-
We wanted a horde mode; we got it ( PoE ).
Very shitty horde mode. I wanted a mode that was pretty much the Faction Wars that occur where you tried to see how long you can last.
-
The only thing I asked for is to stop matching with people on the other side of the planet. Ie "strikes and PvP"

Edited by ARCHER444: 9/14/2016 4:28:33 PMHate to break it to ya bub, but that's how life works. 1. People don't like something, they 'complain'. 2. As a majority of the community begins to 'complain', the devs start to listen. 3. Devs then consider 2 things- can the change even be made, and is it feasible? 4. If yes to both, the change is made, and the community is happy. Now obviously some people will always be on the other side of the fence- like you in this case, or myself in other cases. I can't stand people who cry weapon 'nerf' because it is OP in Crucible- but obviously changes to my favorite weapons still happen. However, complaints for a better experience involving balanced gun play, a better PvP experience, more PvE content, and, last but not least, a better RNG/loot system are what push the devs into 'listening' to the community. If people don't make these 'complaints' then nothing gets done- plain and simple. EDIT: Had to add- in case you didn't know, dedicated servers is not something new... People have been complaining about P2P connections since day 1. It is an archaic and cheap way for a developer to implement multiplayer lobbies, and it is a damn shame for a developer like Bungie to use it. But it's not Bungie's fault; rather, the blame lies with the greedy a'holes at Activision. It's the reason why CoD also doesn't use dedicated servers. So don't hold your breath for dedicated servers in Destiny 2- it just isn't happening! Unless Bungie gets published by Electronic Arts...
-
All the things you listed were reskins of existing things except for PoE and PoE is far as -blam!- from horde mode.
-
I hate to break this to you superfan, but Bungie only loves one thing about you.
your $$$
-
Its fact it should have been available in day 1. Personally i dont use the feature much ...and sure most dont. Just the point it was such bare bones released content.
