So I watche tripleWRECK's vid on ghost bullets and there seems to be some argument in the comments of the vid saying that bloom is necessary to be fair and prevent hand-cannons from being OP.
They also, of course, want to draw comparisons to games like CoD and CS:GO. (which is a mouse and keyboard game anyway)
One guy even went as far as to tell someone to grab a 9mm, set up a target, aim center mass and watch the same results take place.
(yea... right. I'd almost say they have never fired a handgun at a range in their life... however, I don't wanna just assume that and handguns are more what sidearms are, not hand-cannons. ANYWAY...)
TW even commented that he did another test at a closer distance after putting the video up and ghosting was still an issue for several bullets.
(notice that he takes his time and really paces those shots)
The following is my opinion.
I don't believe the removal of bloom would make hand-cannons OP in the sense everyone is worried about. They keep worrying about range and imagining the damage remaining consistent with bloom's removal, I think.
My reasoning is that if you want hand-cannons to remain a close-mid weapon, then it just needs a severe damage dropoff once outside of intended effective range. IMO, bullets WITHIN range should not be at the mercy of RnGeezus and in danger of ghosting, costing some encounters you guardians should have dead to rights... BUT AGAIN, just the opinion of a filthy Cruci-casual.
I wanna know what you all think.

Keep bloom. Get rid of the first shot ghost bullet. When the bloom is tight... it should hit everytime. If there was no bloom then hand cannons would map again. They might be the best option right now! Without bloom it would be year 1 again.
