Yes I know it's a big ship but hell we made a hole in it and kill everyone. We basically own the ship so why can't we ride our sparrows in there?
Please Bungie, allow me to ride my glorious new RoI pre-ordered sparrow in dead (and soon to be forgotten) Oryx's ship. We own that place so let's rock!
Also, sounds like a good track for next SRL!
Edit: Thanks for all the feedback and salt (seriously I think those are valid). I agree that Bungie made less feel more on Dreadnaught. I am not defending Bungie (just cancelled my RoI pre-order to show my love for nerfs)! My point was to experience something new in an old piece of game. Dreadnaught may be like Moon where there's little or no content to play since TTK in general (bar Lost to Light). Sparrow could have made it a hazardous track (think of dirt racing on bikes).
Since Bungie is bent on making less look more and we as players can't do much about it... I was just trying to make more from this less stuff we get.
But I get your point and hope Bungie gets it too!
Thanks!

They chose to do it this way and they're not going to change it. It's just not necessary in any of the places on the Dreadnaught and more likely you'd suicide. And with TTK now being put in the past with RoI being the new current focus, there's no reason to go back and make such a change when TTK is a year old and less relevant content.

something something dark side, something something complete. 😂

Edited by PR4X1S: 9/10/2016 11:16:00 PMAnybody play a game called Defiance, destiny should have events like that. There was always loads of players heading off to various boss fights on mass in their various cars and bikes, it had its faults but in many ways was far better than destiny.

That's how they kept everyone from noticing how small it is.

Edited by Fal Chavam: 9/8/2016 2:47:54 PMThe first day sparrows get put on the dreadnought, you will find me burrowing my way into a wall the instant I touch down.
-
The sparrows weren't in the pit with us. We don't need 'em
-
Because you know the first mission you did on every planet to open the uplink for sparrows...yeah the Dreadnaught doesn't have one of those...lol
-
The reason we can't use our sparrows is because there is an actual uplink on the other planets that enabled us to do so. In the vanilla story you turned back on all this uplink on Earth, Moon, Venus, and Mars. The Dreadnaught never had a system built (cause it was built by guardians duh) on their ship to allow sparrows. Seeing as how you re-uplinked ancient technology there I'm sure it's also not some easy transmit code for sparrows. It sucks, but it makes sense of why we don't have sparrows in the Dreadnaught.
Also sparrows would suck, to many rocks, cliffs, holes. Would be pointless really, the Dreadnaught isn't even that big.
-
Actually, the Cabal made the hole in the dreadnought with that fairly large ship you have to pass through to get to the shield Bros.

why we cant use sparrows on dreadnaught the dreadnaught is not that big...if we had sparrows we would get from the start to CoO in about 10 seconds bungie did this so we would think its this huge place...so they made us walk the whole thing
-
True this. I mean, ghost summons our ship to drop us ammo inside the hull breach at one point. Seems like the transmat beacon we planted could relay a sparrow too.
-
funny i would like that
-
It is not a big ship. You can run from end to end in like 4 minutes. I agree that we should be able to sparrow on it if the Cabal can have a tank on it though. But, it is not a big ship. At least not on patrol.

Because reasons
-
It's to make the Dreadnaught seem bigger than it actually it is. If you could zip around in your sparrow, you'd see how small it really is, which goes against Bungie's description of it.
-
i would love to honestly
-
Need to transmit those ketvectors!
-
Yeah everything in there should be extinct by now. How many guardians went in there? HOW MANY?
-
Yes yes yes yes YESSSSSSSS!!!
-
They don't want sparrows in there for a reason. They didn't build stopping platforms and map glitching would be too easy for the amount of nicks and rocks and divot and bumps that are in it.They have patrols that are supposed to be timed and on foot. Too many things have to be changed for this to happen.
