I don't understand why Dice killed classic conquest. The diversity is gone, this new conquest feels like a Cod rip off, done to attract them to the series.
I've been playing BF since 1942, will not purchase BF1 unless the bring back they staple mode of the franchise.
-
Absolutely nothing has changed.... I've been playing sin B-1943
-
What's changed?
-
What's different about it?
-
They will most likely include a classic conquest mode.
-
I hope they have a "Conquest Classic" mode. I'm already not getting this game until it's patched a lot, no classic system is just going to push me away completely back to BF4.
-
Carrier assault imo was better. It's like conquest and rush in the same mode.
wort
-
They Changed the timer at least... Now they just need to increase the tickets and make them bleed
-
I'm on board with what pixelmagic said about the tickets. they also need to rearrange the weapons, medic should not have the long range rifles. assault should not be limited to shotguns/smgs, recon should have some sort of anti tank aside from those shit soft grenades.
-
Anyone notice how conquest matches timers count up now?
-
Damn you have been playing battlefield for 74 YEARS GOT DAMN

BF4 is pretty much better than this game in every way, unfortunately.
-
I prefer rush
-
It's not bad, don't get me wrong, but it just not what conquest was. It's more like domination, and that's not what this game mode is Can we also just talk about how small the time is to compete. I think I've only played one game that got to the complete ticket amount

Edited by brandorobot: 9/6/2016 5:44:05 PMMaybe when they have custom servers they'll be able to change the settings to the old way.

Edited by Mongoose: 9/6/2016 6:30:26 PMI honestly had fun, love the gameplay, especially the planes. That being said, I prefer the old point system for conquest, and the map could be better.

Preferred the BF4 system of tickets where holding more than 50% of objectives forced a ticket bleed, when kills counted but revives saved them. Medics were a viable class then and there were some epic games that went on for 40mins plus with the end result of 1 - 0 I do think yesterdays update to make it first to 300 with no time limit is much much improved on what it was. Games were lasting longer for me last night, and I got into it more as a result. If they plan on keeping the setup as it is right now, they need to figure out a way of making a medic more important, because at the moment the class doesn't really figure. Many are complaining about tanks being OP, about rifles being low damage, etc etc, but WW1 was all about learning on the fly for those that fought in it, taking out a tank (which admittedly didn't play a part until late on) required a lot of improvisation, so I like the fact that they are a nightmare now. It did take that many grenades to stop them. I think thats part of the fun personally. There are several bugs and the end of match/start of match system is all over the place, but I think the game will be a good one. I remember what a mess BF4 was at the start, and I know how much I still enjoy it now, so I know they will fix most things eventually.

It's ehh, uninstalled after 3 days playing. Making room for the September free games on psn
-
They didn't have computer games in 1942 and the only battlefield back then was the real life one, so I don't think that you have actually been playing battlefield games since 1942.
-
I actually don't mind this version. Would prefer old style obviously.
-
How is it different than Battlefield 4? Aside from the Flamethrower, miniguns, and the train, which are all nice additions.
