I would love a series of expansions..build upon vanilla destiny for years and years

That's not their plan. Everyone fell in love with the "10 year plan" that never actually existed. It was a 10 year contract but not a game that expands off of vanilla over a 10 year span.

Well that's just stupid..u hate sequels and prequels

It the same formula every game has with the exception of like WoW. Battlefield 4 didn't let you start with stuff unlocked just because you played the previous ones. Plus, they can't even balance the character subclasses they have now, I'd hate to see how they handle throwing even more in the mix.

You are missing what I am saying..I'm not comparing destiny ti a yearly shooter

The only way to make a balanced game is to diitch the mess they've created with Destiny 1. I don't see why everyone's so afraid to loose their gear and progress. It seems like a lazy approach to having a new game come out. They've already shown how much they care about leaving stuff behind by the way they handled the year 1 stuff being left behind in the current game.

Edited by alcatraz669: 9/5/2016 5:54:15 AMBecause destiny feels more like a story,a continuation, then a sequel after sequel experience..I know with what we got it isn't as epic as everyone hoped it would be but I feel that it still can be. Then try to make "your" guardian so special ,it just seems kinda depressing to say "ok,you've been on this journey for 2 years now, with these character you've grown quite fond of.were gonna do away with them and you'll be starting fresh"
