Hey all, as some of you may know, the [url=https://www.amazon.com/Destiny-Signature-Strategy-Guide-BradyGames/dp/0744015626]Destiny Signature Series Strategy Guide[/url] from BradyGames revealed two Hive Sects that are unknown to most and not found in the Grimoire Cards: the [b]Venom of Oryx[/b] and the [b]Scarlet Brood[/b]. Through helpful comments on the forum, I've recently discovered that the Venom of Oryx does exist within the Destiny Game. The Venom of Oryx is encountered in the mission "The First Firewall". Their signature color seems to be Gray and I am assuming that the Venom of Oryx is used as a fast attack force against vital infrastructures. The links provide proof. [i]Where's the Scarlet Brood[/i]? Of course one can argue that they simply did not appear yet. But why haven't they appeared, but another, completely unknown Hive Sect, the Silent Brood, did? [spoiler]For those who don't know, the Silent Brood can be encountered on the Dreadnaught, in the areas "The Founts" and "The Asylum", during Patrol or the Sunless Cell Strike. Their Signature Color is a Light Blue.[/spoiler] And I couldn't help myself but notice the striking similarity between Scarlet Brood and Silent Brood. Scarlet... Silent... [b]So what if Bungie changed the name of the Scarlet Brood to Silent Brood?[/b] As we all know, everything in development is subject to change until finally implemented in the live game. And it would make sense in my opinion... Why, you may ask? Well, I believe the Scarlet Brood would have been too confusing. [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scarlet_(color)]Scarlet[/url] is a brilliant Red color with a tinge of Orange. The Hidden Swarm Sect of the Hive already have Red color. Another brilliant Red one would've been too similar and may not be distinguishable from the Hidden Swarm's Red, considering the game's darker areas and filters. So why not simply change it to Silent Brood (sounds similar) and change their color to Light Blue? Does it make sense? Could it be possible? Do you have other thoughts? Please discuss.
