We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.

I bought a PS4 and a new version of Destiny just to keep playing and progressing. Finally got it today and now I can't access it at all due to a [b]tapir[/b] error. I'm particularly bummed that Zur is selling The Last Word! So frustrating! PS4/dogsinspace1984

Installed Destiny after purchasing digital bundle via Xbox one store and getting error tapir when I attempt to sign in to game and import existing profile data from Xbox 360. Just a tad Frustrating !

2 RepliesHow much longer until this becomes a record breaking Destiny crash? Surely there are problems that took longer than this to resolve. Ill be able to tell my grandchildren about this one someday... "Well, I was planning on paying for your fathers college education, but Bungie holocausted the legacy console players, so I had to spend my entire savings to buy the Xbox one and all the extra crap to keep playing" ....."Don't look at me like that, you little bastard! I bought the new PS4 just to keep playing Destiny, coz you are stoping support on PS3. Well.... and that means you earned twice with my money, 2 Games + DLC`s. So i came home on thuesday with my new PS4 and new Destiny, happy to have all the time on Weekend to play. But there is this Tapir issue since 3 days, and a very bad information policy who made me very [u]disapointed [/u] It would have been much more pleasent if you have been more clearly with your status in this matter. I`m curiouse what your compensation will be, or if there will be any compensation at all, for all the people who have waited. Bungie did not became Legend with this.

Im honestly just wondering, I really have no idea what is causing the issue or when it will be resolved because you guys havent given us any information even tho you said this thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available, well how is it that for the first 3 days this was happening you didn't even have this thread or anything and now in the day that it has been since you made this thread there has been no new information to update us on, i dont care if u give us a 2 week ETA on the resolution, sure i will be pissed of but at least you wont be keeping us in the dark and what appears to be blatanlty lying, unless somehow the issue is so big that in the 4 days this has been happening and the 1 official day that this thread has exhisted you havent found any "new information" to give us.
