We are actively investigating player reports regarding recent TAPIR Errors received by players on all platforms. We have identified the cause of this issue and are working diligently to reach a resolution.
This thread will be updated with new information as it becomes available. If you have encountered this issue, please Comment in this thread with your PSN ID/ Xbox Gamertag, as well as exactly which console you have received this error on.

I have invested $140 in this game on 360 as I have been a huge fan since December 2014. I was finally able to save enough money to get a ONE and bought it AGAIN. I have been so excited to finally get the chance to experience what my friends have been raving about only to continue to get this error code every time I try to log on to play. : (

PS4 Black - Robkallday Bought used PS4 from Gamestop yesterday. Also Bought new Destiny Taken King on DVD. Installed about 19GB of updates. Tapir error occurs after accepting critical update. I have tried resetting my router... Rebooting the PS4... No luck so far. I can still log in to Destiny on my PS3

I do the critical update like it asks and afterwards it goes back to the sign in screen says signing in and then it hits me with the tapir error i see a lot of ppl are having this problem any idea when this will be fixed

Hello , we have chosen a PS4 to buy now even Destiny and the characters from 3 to 4 update . Then always the Tapir error . That's now been 3 days that way. How long it will take , so you can play the game ?

1 ReplyScholar SiM on Xbox One here again It has been 2 days since this thread was posted and the comments here have surpassed the other error code sticky thread that was updates on the 1st. You know we all spent a lot of money recently. And that this change over from the legacy consoles has been problematic. However this is the last week for some calcified fragments for the moments of triumph. The lack of communication from a company that has of history of decent communication during this holiday weekend is suspicious and maddening. Please extend the MoT a few weeks at the very least as a mea culpa for this giant cluster-blam!-.

Was hoping to finally get the last word since Xur is selling it. Gt: MvGxWINTER

My names it's_donavann I just bought a ps4 and I can't login to Destiny. I bought the PS4 and destiny brand new yesterday. It has the Tapir error everytime.

Also, I would appreciate a better way of getting in contact with you; your tech support phone number doesn't work.
