Obviously we'll get more subclasses and probably brand new classes as well, but why exactly would they want to leave these behind? That makes zero sense.

Why not? It's a completely different game so why not cut all ties from the last one? Makes perfect sense.

A sequel that cuts all ties with the original. How does that make any sense?

lol. I'm talking in terms of your guardians. Look at Borderlands. You don't play as the same characters in BL2 that you did in BL1 but they are still NPC's in the sequel. This game has already limited itself in terms of progression, story, character development, overpriced the "expansions" for how much content you get, etc. The only benefit for transferring guardians is to start a brand new game with all sorts of abilities unlocked but why would you want to do that? That would be lame AF.

Edited by Lost Sols: 9/2/2016 9:42:28 PMBecause these classes and subclasses are still fun AF and just because you don't want to play them doesn't mean others still don't. Also it's more options and more content to keep them. Again, makes no sense not to. All of a sudden Gunslingers are extinct?

Edited by word2yermutha: 9/2/2016 9:41:08 PMOk sure. As long as they have at the very least 2 more sub classes for each character then I would be fine with that. It just seems silly to me to start a brand new 60 dollar game with an already leveled up character. Not my style. Especially in an RPG where progression is the most important thing. I consider that to be a hindrance in the longevity of the games lifespan.
