Hey Bungie, don't even think about resetting and making us start new Guardians in Destiny 2
The writers at Forbes are idiots to suggest it.
If you're going to make us start over then you need to drop the ranking up and progression completely and turn this into a Halo type experience.
If we're going to grind, progress and build our guardians over multiple paid expansions then you need to let us continue with our Guardians we're investing all this time into.
Honestly the fact that these writers at Forbes are suggesting a reset is complete crap. If you want a fresh start you can delete and make a new Guardian any time you want. Don't force that bs on others who are invested in their Guardians.

I would kind of like to continue building my guardian. This game has gotten very stale. It plays excellently, but doesn't do anymore than be a shooter with RNG. I still wish the game was much more expansive and varied. A good example of this would be a weapon class, let's take auto rifles for instance. Divide those into three archetypes and then make those into 20 different guns that all look the same. Can I get something that is different? The problem with Destiny and being reset would be like Master Chief in Halo having to play Halo: CE 10 times over just to be able to have the armor and weapons to play the game once as it actually was intended. I'm fine with paying more for more variety and I also enjoy some of the RNG mystery, but I still feel that if I'm reset at Destiny 2, then I'll feel that I've been playing a free beta (Destiny 1 which I feel never left beta) that I've been duped into paying for. So, I feel that if it adds to the game like adding another sub-class that I have to rank up I would accept, but a hard reset would definitely turn me away from this franchise for good.
