- The male or female is already in a relationship.
- Long distance
- Influx of "friends"
No, Men and Women can never be just friends.
Women are too emotionally dependant and rely on "friendship" which results in a bunch of thirsty boys fight over each other to date that one female.
Men are too easily influenced by females, they chase after one when they see one...
Move on to the next one when the chase is not worthy enough to another female who is "better".

Edited by gethyn007: 9/2/2016 3:13:34 PMIn my experience, men and women can hardly ever just be friends. Not saying it can't happen or that there aren't exceptions. Under normal circumstances and on some level, however, some sort of feelings, attraction, or situation will almost always occur which isn't within the boundaries of 'just' friends. Most of the time, if a guy is close or wants to be close to a girl, he's either lonely, horny, wants to do it, or he at least 'would' do it if the situation presents itself. If he says it isn't true, then he either hasn't come to the realization, has never been alone with her, or he's lying about it. By the way, this isn't to say that it's only us guys who are to blame, because it takes two to tango, but we are guys, after all. I'll admit it, I've just about never spent time alone with a girl that I was friends with and one that was at least attractive, and not had something happen. Sometimes it was awkward, and we just laughed and shrugged it off but remained friends. But usually, it developed into a full blown relationship, dating, or a friends with benefits sorta thing.
