I have literally never seen anyone support SBMM. If anyone who doesn't get paid to is literally not playing this game ever.

First of all SBMM doesnt match you against people who are God's just people with stats near you. If they are a god then it's a smurf account or the purposely tanked their stats. And CBMM works by matching you against anyone with good connection, so it usually ended up being a pretty even match of people who are worse the same and better than you. Yes there were some pubstomps but it was generally more enjoyable.

I support SBMM. Why would I want to play against people that are either way better or worse than me?
-
So you don't get pitted against someone from Brazil or Nicaragua who's lagging like a mother blam*er because he's the same skill as you. SBMM is a garbage system because skill should never take priority over connection. And how are you supposed to improve if all you do is play people at your level?

Edited by JasonX1: 9/2/2016 4:04:50 PMFirst of all, SBMM doesn't completely disregard connection quality. It just prioritizes skill level, while also trying to set up a good connection. Lag in online gaming is nothing new. Secondly, the way you improve your own skill is to do better against players at your own level, then you will face better players. Simple.
-
Also, SBMM sacrifices a degree of connection quality that is very noticeable. Have you ever experienced a red bar warrior? If you're saying what you're saying probably not
-
Or just do sweats and trials help. Speeds up the process

You improve by paying attention, learning, and doing a little better each time. You'll gradually be faced with more skilled opponents over time and learn to cope at your own pace. My kd used to be .3 when I started playing Destiny. I'm still no trials god, but I've improved and had fun doing it.

It's a hell of a lot easier to get better faster by playing people that are better than you.

Not when you get crushed every five seconds. That's not enough time to process the opponents strategies andform your own. Plus it's just demoralizing.

I support it. So. You're wrong.
