Yep.
With the way they've treated Y1 and Y1 players, starting from scratch in Destiny 2 is a high possibility.

Yeah. If they do, they will lose a lot of players. Under that scenario, the only way I would buy Destiny 2 is if after being out for months it gets stellar reviews from people I trust that it's a great stand-alone game despite not carrying-forward our Guardians.
