Hey Bungie, don't even think about resetting and making us start new Guardians in Destiny 2

The writers at Forbes are idiots to suggest it. If you're going to make us start over then you need to drop the ranking up and progression completely and turn this into a Halo type experience. If we're going to grind, progress and build our guardians over multiple paid expansions then you need to let us continue with our Guardians we're investing all this time into. Honestly the fact that these writers at Forbes are suggesting a reset is complete crap. If you want a fresh start you can delete and make a new Guardian any time you want. Don't force that bs on others who are invested in their Guardians. Thank-you

  • I see both points in this argument. As someone who invested a bunch of time into Destiny early, and took a break until recently, jumping back in can be a bit cluttered. There are many locations of many vendors and only the new ones get any real focus. I can only imagine what someone who wants to join the game at Year 3 would go through. I also think that the dedication of those that put in many hard hours should not be disregarded. There should be a way to cater to both of these audiences/consumers. My suggestion would be to fast-track the new players in a way that introduces them to the vendors amongst the regions of the game and brings them up to level. The spark of light is nice for level gain i suppose (never used it) but it wouldn't help with the orientation of a new guardian to the community. They should also have more favorable rewards for being a mentor to new players. Similar to the shader that they offered. But a shader is not adequate to spending valuable time helping a stranger with no result on gameplay. Not to mention the armor is already to horrendous that a shaders in this game mean almost nothing. (dont comment on this point, it was only made to emphasize how meaningless the reward is for assisting new players) For current players, Bungie needs to create an easier way to store old gear and/or trash it. Maybe this exists but I am not aware of it, but you should be able to dismantle gear from the vault without having to take it out. That extra step is so pointless. Maybe create a separate space in the tower or vault for a "Trophy" room. Where old gear that you cant use but want to collect is displayed, maybe cast in gold, or even a metal of your choosing. That frees up space in the vault, and guess what, you could have grimoire in your trophy case to view as well. Two birds, one stone. Hell, even mounted heads of enemies you have defeated. Gotta catch 'em all? Okay I'm starting to ramble. Good day
