The problem is that there are certain rules of confrontation that more experience players use to great effect, but aren't obvious to novice players they're paired with.
Knowing when to challenge snipers is one example (not peeking twice or at all for instance). When to disengage a firefight and escape. How to keep distance with shotgun rushers etc.
It's like playing chess but not being told the rules and how the pieces move. Sbmm only works to improve gameplay if they know what they are doing wrong and can improve on it.

The problem is finding a balance between SBMM and CBMM that allows for a more fun PvP experience for everyone, which is very difficult to do.

Indeed what you're saying is right, but you're missing the point of LAG. Most games I lose are sweaty lag fest and that's never fun for anyone...

It's risky engaging snipers head-on but since SBMM has ruined my KD I do it anyways and do that long distance teabag when I beat the hardscoper.

XD LONG DISTANCE TEABAG! "Hello, you can call me xXD3sTroY3DXXPv55yXx, but all the snipers call me stretchnuts."
-
How else am I supposed to assert my dominance over someone? The kill is so far away and they'll respawn before I run up there before I could lay my bulbous teabags on them.

But you can call me Beans. Wrinkle Beans.

Very flavorful and full of vitamin B for BeezNuts!
