Thaaat's right, folks! The PC version of Destiny has been sitting right under your noses this whole time, and I'm here to tell you all how to play Destiny on your PC!
But before we get to that, you need a few things:
A functioning Xbox One
A functioning Xbox One controller
Destiny (for the Xbox One)
Xbox Live (and a Microsoft account for your PC to connect to your Xbox Live account)
A functioning PC (Windows 10 required)
Got them all? Good! Let's get started!
Step 1: Go on your PC.
Step 2: Go to the Windows Store, and install the free Xbox app.
Step 3: Open said Xbox app, and connect to Xbox Live
Step 4: Connect your PC to your Xbox One via the same WiFi (you will have several buttons on the left side of your app's main menu. Consoles are accessible through one of those buttons. You might need to know what your Xbox's IP address to connect it to your PC, which can be found in your Xbox's Network Settings)
Congratulations! You can now use your PC to turn your Xbox One!
Step 5: Turn on the Xbox One
Step 6: Log into your Xbox Live account
Step 7: On your PC, you should be able to stream your Xbox One to your PC. Do so.
Step 8: Start up Destiny.
Congratulations! You can now play Destiny on your PC!
"But OP, wtf do we need an Xbox One controller for?!"
Since you're only streaming your Xbox to your PC, you still use your controller to play, as you normally would.
"But OP, I'm doing all of that now, but the quality is too poor!"
Left click on your PC's mouse, while streaming. This will open a small menu, with settings such as adjusting the stream's quality.
"But OP, I'm using a wireless controller, and it says that no controller is connected to my PC or Xbox!"
The system is lying to you. Ignore that message.
"But OP, I can't get it to work because I'm logged into my Xbox when I really am!"
Either:
>Do a hard reset of your Xbox One
>Log out of your account on your Xbox, then log back in
>Or just be patient, and wait before trying again.
Hope this helps all the Guardians out there wanting a PC version of Destiny. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to let me know. But for now, this is Agent Venom, out.
Edit: Okay, I didn't know there was a PS version, but you may thank the user "n8" for this: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212036393/0/0/1

You still won't get Jade rabbit though.
-
God the pc version would get hacked and modded to bits asap
-
Why do you want a pc version if you already have the console, if you want to use a mouse and keyboard just buy one of those usb's that lets you use them.
-
It's not a PC version. I could remote play Destiny on my work PC through my PS4 and it still isn't as great as what a PC version would be.
-
But you release people want to play on pc because they want better quality and keyboard and mouse. Just because you stream it and adjust the streaming quality doesn't mean you're getting the quality of game that's been designed and improved for pc.
-
You are literally the first person, in the nearly 2 years I've been playing Destiny, who has even referenced a complaint that Destiny should be on PC. I've never seen an actual complaint about it. Oh well, good job finding an "answer" to the problem.
-
This isn't playing Destiny on PC. This is playing Destiny from PC. You could plug your Xbox into your computer monitor and achieve the same result, but without the slight loss in visual quality and input lag.
Unless this is sarcasm, in which case gr8 b8 m8, you got me.
-
No, there really isn't a PC version. What you've suggested isn't the same thing......at all. I don't really understand why you typed all that out. All you really had to say was nothing and it would have amounted to the exact same thing tbh. /shrug

What's an Xbox
-
And we wonder why there are so many red bars.....
-
Or just get a PS4
-
Wait seriously? Give me a few weeks of work then!!!

That's technically still the XBox One version

It's pretty cool. Getting pretty substantial controller lag though.
-
No, thats not a PC version. PC version would be from Steam.
-
PC is in the contract between bungie and activision so It can come with Destiny 2 or 3
-
destiny would be great with real servers which we will never get as bungie has been lagging us as far back even as halo 2. but then again we need custom games more than we need consistent good connection according to bungie
-
Pretty sure Destiny will be coming to the PC. If you look at their jobs, there is or was (when I looked awhile ago), needing people able to port games to PC. But they specifically stated NEW games. Again, this was at least 6 months ago. Eh.
-
The only reason I gave up on PC gaming was simple. I hated buliding a new machine every 2 years to keep up with graphics needs and horse power.
-
Thinking of doing this but concerned latency of streaming will kill it for me in PvP.
-
People don't usually want a PC version so they can still use a controller.
-
Um... Yeah, fuсk Windows 10.
-
I wish... Thinking of NPC fight mods. :D
-
and here I was thinking your post was just gonna say "warframe"
