I made this in reply to another post, and a lot of people seemed to like it so I'm creating a new topic. I'd been thinking about the lack of Sunbreaker exotics, and Titan's T-Rex arms, so what about an exotic to fix both problems?
Here's a cool idea.
Hyperion, Exotic Titan Gauntlets
Default Exotic Perk: Greatly increased melee range. Sunstrike blinds enemies.
(insert other generic armor perks)
Grimoire (I'm not the best writer, bear with me):

Milwr dropped to one knee, gazing around the battlefield.
The Crusaders had not fared well. The Vex had come from nowhere, warping into the middle of his forces and smashing through their ranks with surgical precision. Before the battle, the Sol Crusade had been a proud, seemingly-invincible regiment of Sunbreakers. Now, blood, Light, and corpses slicked the ground like an obscene carpet.
Ten yards to his left, Tainak gasped and rolled off the shattered chassis of a Minotaur. Milwr stood, wounds screaming, and limped to her side. Her eyes stared at the sky as if they saw nothing, and Milwr was afraid she was dead until a small, labored breath told him otherwise.
“You took many, Captain. I have never seen Light burn so bright,” Milwr whispered.
Tainak gave a small laugh that turned into a cough, blood flecking her lips. “My Ghost was lost in the fight, Milwr. Any one of my next breaths could be my last.”
“You are not alone, my Captain,” Milwr said, a rueful smile crossing his face. “We should count ourselves lucky we didn’t die like poor Caydox, ripped in half by a Praetorian.”
Tainak frowned. “We are all destined to die the second death one day, Milwr. Better on the battlefield then bleeding out in a trench like a dog. It would’ve been better-” she grimaced, then gasped, speaking with new urgency. “I am about to travel beyond this world, Milwr. I want you to take my gauntlets, show them to the Vanguard. Tell...tell them that the Sol Crusade succeeded where so many others failed. Tell them that our flame still burns bright. Tell them-” Tainak gave a shuddering breath.
Milwr leaned forward, intent. The last of the Light went quietly from Tainak’s eyes, and her head fell back, eyes gazing sightlessly at the stars.
He unbuckled the gauntlets. They were elegant machines. There was a long scratch along one of the blades, but the intricate inscriptions were still intact. He couldn’t understand the writing.
Milwr stood. The gauntlets tightened as he put them on, as if saying hello to their new master.
He clenched his fist, and saw the blades shoot out with a small chink. Milwr looked out upon the battlefield once more. He could almost hear Tainak’s voice. Bring the Light to our enemies, she seemed to say. Avenge us. Show the Darkness the power of the flame.
In answer, Milwr grinned.

Aesthetics: Black and gold, but can change with shader. During the punch animation a large blade glowing with the element of the current subclass being used extends from the top of the wrist towards enemies. Attacking an enemy with your melee also makes a deep "boom" sound.
Some people thought it would be OP if SS blinded every time, so what about a 35% chance? Input please ^^

Interesting concept but maybe make it use up the melee charge even if it doesn't hit anyone like on the gunslinger's throwing knife. That way it can't be long range spammed on the off chance you'll hit someone. That being said though using that would mean removing my armementariam (sp?) And idk if it'd be worth it.
