Throwback to OP SUROS in Year 1
Look at this video by a certain Mightea Daygon.
He's got a cool Zavala-esque voice and is pretty funny.
Anyhow, I thought I'd leave this video from 2014 here to remind all us veterans where we come from before we head somewhere new!

1 ReplyI tried khvostov in pvp, did pretty well with it. Then I compared it to my shadow price, and there were improvements in every way. So, if the khvostov were great, shouldn't a gun with better stats in every way be practically OP?

Oh how I miss those days. Unfortunately the crybabies pushed this and subsequently all auto rifles out of play for a really long time, and they still have yet to recover. Should be one of the best weapon classes in the game, yet it's the worst. Just one of the reasons why Destiny's PvP is a joke.

3 RepliesShit was just plain fun pre ttk. I like ttk and all but good lord the nerfs took a heavy toll on that elusive pve fun factor. *i think I'm at 10 days, no destiny. Lol, I'm such an addict......hopefully I'm taking a break for a few months but I'm burning a couple vaca days this week. I might break down and play haha. Cool video and makes me miss original, vanilla auto rifles. I'm not a pvp guy but they were still really good in pve. Hell, back then everything but pulse rifles was really fun in pve.

Might bust out a pre nerf thorn clip later, but remember that thorn was bad because it lasted 9 months and 40% of the playerbase used it.
