It's time to buff primary weapons. They need to be the best weapons in the game, at this point in the game primaries have been nerfed so many times that you'll be better off running around with a shotgun all game.
Hand canons and auto rifles don't have enough range to challenge any snipers. Weapons (minus hand canons) can't kill fast enough to counter shotgunners (especially in a meta where thunder strike/juggernaut/force barrier are very common). In the next patch some things need to be done about primaries. NO MORE NERFS. We are done with those.
-give hand canons back the accuracy they had before 2.0
-give pulse rifles back their damage they had before 2.0
-give auto rifles back their damage they had in vanilla
-scouts may stay the same, they were always inferior to hand hand canons except at long distance.
Bump if you agree.
Edit: here is what I predict will be nerfed because we all know the word "buff" is not in bungie's dictionary.
-Grasp of Malik archetype damage nerfed to 19 headshot, less range
-Medium impact hand canons bloom mechanic intensified, they're being used too much
-increased control will not provide Titans with significant lateral movement speed anymore, Titans were never meant to be so fast, it's not how we want you to play the game
-blink strike lunge distance nerfed, we find blade dancer had increased usage since the last patch
-the hawksaw archetype of pulse rifles will be removed, all weapons in this archetype will be transformed into the slightly slower firing archetype (nirwens). We thought it wasn't fair that nirwens took the same amount of shots to kill as the hawksaw, but shot slower.
........
Add to the list of things Bungie will nerf

Nerf fusion rifles got it

Agree

Couldn't agree more. But instead of all this, I'm sure Bungie will just nerf something

Edited by DoubleBodyShot: 8/28/2016 12:44:28 AMCan I get a last word guru's attention real quick? ( I enjoy using all primaries bro so chill ) I was playing on my lock last week and I was using TLW on drifter, so for that particular map I decided I'd throw good ole single point sling on as I lost a few engagements because I couldn't switch and ready quick enough. All is well. I jump into PVP this week on my hunter and move my last word over, I missed night stalker so I thought I'd play a few matches with shade. I realized I was winning a LOT more last minute engagements than usual, I never put perfect balance back on.... I had forgotten. I honestly don't feel that I've lost any primary battles with it lately due to a stability issue. If I lost the gun fight I usually feel I was genuinely outplayed. I feel that I'm just as accurate with the added benefit of switching more quickly and it really fits my play style. Maybe I'm not engaging at a far enough distance for it to matter, this is my assumption. Everyone is always going on about ALWAYS use perfect balance for this current iteration of the crucible. Anyone out there still rockin' single point sling? (If you're not on blade dancer )

Shotgun range still long and sniper aim assist was too high and the exotic NLB need nerf for aim assist and stability as well ...bungies u hear us pls nerf them on 18/9/2016...hehe

I really like buffing primaries. I mean, all that dust on Mars and all that water vapor on Venus, it really ruins the finish of your gun, so definitely buff it out. Also, don't forget to lubricate the action. Nothing more irritating than having your MIDA Multitool do a stovepipe when you've got a Thrall swarm coming your way.

Auto rifles should by no means ever return back to it's old vanilla self. However, it does need a good buff to the low rate of fire ones. Maybe just a 5% increase in speed or accuracy, I dunno. What it really needs is a solid buff for PvE. It is generally not a very viable option in PvE. Actually low rate of fire pulse rifles could use the same in PvP situations. You are taking quite a risk using them in PvP, there should definitely be a reward. It kind of breaks my heart having these things in my vault that I just want to use, but they aren't very practical. I hold onto them in hope that one day something will be done. I refuse to dispose of them.

Edited by BlaStar845: 8/28/2016 2:16:47 AMI have a solution to this problem.
Just use Universal remote more balanced gameplay and more fun
-
Hunters need a Buff to Gunslinger and BladeDancer for PVE to make them more viable supers.
-
buff me plz.
so short.....
-
I'm down for this
-
Sounds fun
-
Buff the last word ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
I agree I recently picked up universal remote and pared it with a sniper and have done pretty good. It's work and not so much fun and satisfying as using my black spindle haha
-
Agreed. Way too many people would be pissed if they nerfed shoulder charge, jugg/shotty, or anything like that.... Just buff primaries. Simple.

Edited by JHarv: 8/27/2016 11:48:43 PMAnd make guardians faster. Make them go from standing to sprinting faster Make guardians turn and look up and down faster (without changing aimed scope speed) Make guardians strafe faster Change the radar so it pings rather than showing enemy position at all times, so corner humping or jump like idiots behind a doorway isn't the way to play the game.

Instead of nerfing the vex and suros in year 1, all primaries should've been buffed around those guns.
-
Edited by Ralez: 8/28/2016 5:56:12 AMThe only thing that was overpowered in year 2 were Sunbreakers everything else that was "op" was laughable lol people don't know the true meaning of the word until they had to try and win a gunfight against vanilla Suros, Vex, Felwinter's Lie and Dark Below Thorn. A lot of weapons got unjust nerfs in year two instead of learning how to counter them people complained. Year 1 players will know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that the "op" weapons in year 2 were only overused because primaries that could outgun got nerfed. 2.0 pulse rifles wouldn't have been an issue had Handcannons stayed the same and DoP wouldn't be an issue had pulses stayed the same. The only pulse rifle that was op was the Messenger and Hopscotch back in year 1. Let's hope Bungie buffs primaries in year 3

Bungo doesn't know what the word buff means

Edited by RingersCheckmate: 8/27/2016 9:22:13 PMOh dear god, rip scout rifles. Need a long range weapon? Use vanilla auto rifles or use HoW pulse rifles. Oh, scout rifles? Yeah those don't have a place anywhere. Look at scout rifles in the past metas, and why no one used them. Damage falloff isn't significant enough for either weapon class to prevent them from outgunning scout rifles.

The last 2 days I've been trying several different primaries and I agree! Primaries suck with the exception of a few.
-
!!!!!!!!!!!!Nerf fusions!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Elemental primaries would be wonderful to have again.
-
Agree, i played destiny for the first time in a month and noticed how weak most of my primary weapons felt. The ammo drop rate sucked as well, so..in essence you have weak guns with no ammo, which is super fun.
-
Don't forget to nerf fusion rifle.
