Now most of you will probably be jackasses and say this isn't good and bungie won't accept it but remember, it's an idea!
Let's begin.
This social space will be different than the other because of one factor
Most of the vendors will be fallen.
Now bear with me here. Everyone loved Variks when house of wolves came out because it was the only time we got to talk with a fallen without blowing his head off. How cool would it be to have an entire outpost full of them that we could trade with, interact with, and even buy from!
Of course there will be one or two people from the tower like representatives the main story would be focused on these fallen.
This social space would be located in an area where the fallen would be ruling. For example, maybe Venus or earth.
That's all I have for now. Thanks for reading.
Edit 1: I did not expect this to go up fast. This is easily the best post that's been positive I've had.
Edit 2: thank you to all of those that are being positive! A lot of you have good idea such as walking through the city. Keep up the good work my friends!
Edit 3: and now here come the jackasses
Edit 4: almost 300 replies?! And most of them being positive?!
I truly am in the twilight zone...

I want shanks to follow you around and react to emotes. Can one vendor be a servitor that mocks the speaker by jauntily wearing his mask? Or painted like the traveler? That would be adorable.
-
Why not have a new social space on the Dreadnaught now that the vanguard think they run the place We can have vendor stalls run by ogres and cursed thralls.... ... Forget that. Maybe it was a bad idea after all
-
U want more fallen! We've only had Fallen and Hive expansions
-
If you know a lot about Destiny lore, you would know that the Fallen aren't really even that evil. They're just trying to get back the Traveler because at one point, long before it came to us, the Traveler came to them. They called it the "Great Machine" and worshipped it like a god. In fact, some people think that the Traveler was so sacred to them they believed spheres to be lucky and modeled their Servitors after it. But when the Darkness came to them, the Traveler abandoned them in their time of need (The Fallen called this "The Whirlwind"), forcing them into their current nomadic, pirating lifestyle. They have been chasing the "Great Machine" ever since, hoping it will protect them from the Darkness. In fact, the ONLY reason they're mad at us is because they believe we are hoarding it and keeping it from them. My idea: in Destiny 2, we make an ALLIANCE with the Fallen. You heard me right, an ALLIANCE. We give the fallen a bunch of Ether AND some of the Traveler's power of light to make FALLEN GUARDIANS in exchange for them helping us fight the TRUE Darkness. In addition to Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks, the Fallen will be the 4th class with all-new subclasses and abilities. So maybe this new social space isn't as far-fetched as some people say.

They would have to change the story line. Too much work to get done in 3 weeks. Won't happen.

The thing is...Variks being a fallen was one of the things that made him unique. I'm not saying that I wouldn't mind more fallen allies and fallen vendors, I'm saying that the fact that he was fallen, his history, his hammyness, his ideologies, and secretiveness made him different from almost all other vendors. If such an idea like the one you are suggesting dies come to fruition, then these new fallen vendors will have to be different enough from variks so he could stay...well Variks. Did that make sense or did I just confuse you?
-
Love that you deem anyone that disagrees with you a jackass. I don't like your idea, it doesn't make any sense contextually.
-
It would only possible if Variks manage to rebuilt the house of judgement. An alternative would be the house of rain. All the other houses will never make an alliance and rather kill us.
-
Variks is only on our side because he is House of Judgement and just wants to survive. All other fallen just want us dead.
-
If there was the fallen race I would love to have one that looks like there captain

honestly Bungie needs to make the social spaces more interactive and fun, they are so damn boring and dull i get that its a place to go for vendors and your vault but i mean it needs to have like mini games, fun activities that we can just mess around with... something to do besides spawn in and dance with randoms. Maybe they could implement somthingg that requires strange coins or something that is require to play these mini games and you also can win coins, motes, shaders etc.. from these games as prizes.
-
Decent idea but sounds pretty boring to be honest. How about an underwater atlantis/dome type deal.

Walmart Parking-lot
-
Variks clones?
-
But will poor Taniks get a house???
-
I want the city that was originally shown

This isn't good and bungie won't accept it
-
New social space: THE QUEENS CHAMBERS. Guardians will be lined up to the dreadnought to get in there
-
Variks is the only one from his house left alive, it would screw with the lore
most people only like Variks for his voice

not trying to be jackass
Edited by Lilrooster156: 8/28/2016 11:26:27 PMWhile it's a good idea, it doesn't quite fit into the Destiny lore. As far as I know Variks is the only one left of House Judgement. The only somewhat friendly Fallen house now that the House of Wolves defected.

Hey i know you! ;)

I would love to have it on Pen Island

I WANNA SHADESTEP

The entire city should be a social space.
