Ok, say I'm crazy if you must but it's obvious that Eris Morn is the main, endgame enemy! Let's go into details here.
Eris Morn was an Awoken Guardian that served the Vanguard with her fellow fireteam which eventually died during a raid on Crota. Blah Blah Blah, eventually, she ended up the dark, disgusting pits of the Hellmouth and lost her eyes to the darkness. Over the years, as Eris lost her light, her vessel was easily corruptible by the Hive. She is possessed by the last Hive God we have not seen yet...the Queen of the Hive (We will call her Beyonce for simple purposes).
Why do you think Eris has darkness spewing out of her Hive eyes and her convenient, ominous way to communicate with Crota and Oryx via her green, glowing orb? Why do you think the Hive are still fighting us along with Taken still in the system? Beyonce is alive and well, and getting ready to take over the Hive via a power void.
Eris has sent us to kill EVERY POSSIBLE HIVE LEADER: Sardon, Omnigul, Crota, Oryx, Alak-Hul, Malok. Obviously she's using the guardians to destroy the chain of command so she can eventually take over the system. Eris is also a part of the Hidden group which consists of Mara Sov, Ikora Ray, and Eris Morn. Mara Sov alluded to this in the monologue of the Taken King cinematic where she "died".
Such by knowing the story, you can tell Eris set Ikora Ray up to destroy the Hive power chain and set Mara Sov up to destroy the Awoken fleet. She also set Cayde up so we would stop the Cabal from blowing up her soon-to-be ship, the Dreadnaught.
Remember when Eris teleported us out of the Hellmouth? She teleported Queen Mara Sov out and trapped her somewhere (maybe the unused door of the Tower next to the Speaker? lol) so she can use her in the future.
She will be the main enemy in Destiny 2/3.
Just wait.

I actually trust Eris Morn. She seems reliable to me only because I can relate to her and I've grown to like her and her cryptic messages. Sadly, I still believe that there is a slight possibility that she'll be an enemy. But, I still trust her more than Variks, the Loyal.
-
I cracked at beyonce is alive and well im sorry.
-
I wouldn't disagree. I believe you can't trust anyone in that game except Lord Saladin and Lord Shax.
-
5 dollars and an iron gjallarhorn says no
-
someone is really salty about those raisins.
-
Lost me at "She is part of Ikoras hidden group which consists of Mara Sov, Ikora Rey, and Eris Morn" .... I'm pretty sure the Hidden is a group of Warlocks that Eris works with, yes they work for Ikora, but you seemed to have forgotten that fact
-
Have you finished the game???
-
She will become one. Retribution for being banished to the spot under the stairs.
-
I don't trust her or variks....... If I could cut her eyes out and chop of variks' arms I'd be happy.
-
Rick Harrison is the Fallen house of kings kell.
-
She'll more than likely remain a side character that does weird things.
-
Let the crazy flow free, gentlemen. I'll get us started..... Eris is Taox.
-
There is no endgame.
-
Who else is an enemy? Rasputin? Xur? The Traveler? Maybe Zavala's an enemy. He's a bit of a dork, anyway.
-
Anyone who hands out raisins on Halloween is my enemy.
-
I will use her in the future if ya know what I mean.
-
you can glitch into that door an nothing is there but a glitched gaurd
-
Nah. She is cool. She is just different now after suffering through the dark of the moon and the hive. She cool bruh

Edited by The Fighting Lion: 8/27/2016 11:07:38 PMI'm telling you all and calling it right now. The last agent of darkness, the puppeteer pulling the universal strings, is Rahool. People think its just some joke easter egg from Bungie when you go to the loot cave and approach the pile of corpses on the ground. Rahool, Lord of the Deep demands many, many more sacrifices and will have his pound of flesh.....from the Hive, the Fallen, the Cabal and the whole of humanity. Not the Vex though...they gonna get th -blam!- outta dodge before his living will emerges. Just wait

Lost credibility at "Queen of the Hive." Eris also has never been able to communicate with Crota and Oryx, the rock lets her know when an Ascendant is in the system. I do however, believe that The Awoken Queen is Savathûn, and Eris is her main servant.
-
Inaccuracy #1: Eris is a human, not an Awoken. Inaccuracy #2: there is no "Queen of the Hive." Did you read the Books of Sorrow. The top 3 hive are Oryx, Savathun and Xivu Arath. We killed Oryx, that just leaves his two sisters. Inaccuracy #3: the green rock she has does not communicate with Crota and Oryx. It "whispers" whenever a powerful Hive diety is in our solar system. Sorry buddy, you're wrong.
-
Makes you wonder which Queen she refers to.
-
Eris has no house.

Edited by Barrierr-: 8/27/2016 1:49:58 PMI'd say you need to do some more research because you're most definitely wrong

Seems too obvious...

I'll counter and say not only she is 100% friend but she is our most important friend who has done more to help than anyone else in the game. Without her, crota takes earth. The tower was oblivious that Crotas generals were on earth, had no idea how to stop crota. Without her, oryx rocks our ass. Eris and Mara were actively preparing for oryx while we chased wolves in the HoW DLC. Remember mission one of the TTK (coming war)? Vanguard is investigating Phobos and trying to figure out what's happening. Well Eris and Mara were out in the rings of Saturn and had already help defeat the entire hive fleet around the dreadnaught. They had done 90% of the damage to oryx tribute before we even knew he was here. Eris actually saved us in a mission, something no one from the vanguard has ever done. And let us not forget raisins. Only thing Eris has ever done wrong is that stupid line about no one controlling an ogre unless it's taken. Eris is the best
