What if i want HD porn through wifi?, i cant use lag there either because it ruiins the moment... ;-)

Still think Upnp is crap too.. and port forwarding is crap because most manufacturers don't know how to prevent buffer problems causing the router to go belly up.
(like the 3 different Euro-DOCSIS modems i got from my ISP)

Just reboot your router like once a week to clear the uPnP tables. If your using fixed IP addresses for most things on your lan then its not a huge problem. I use DHCP, but reserve IP's for all my devices uPnP used to be flakey as fudge and crash routers etc, but most routers less than 3 years old should be able to handle it. I use a 4 year old Netgear WNDR3700, cause I'm too cheap to buy a Nighthawk, and I haven't had any issues with it. Most people use more than 1 thing that uses the same ports nowadays rendering port forwarding useless.

If i need to reboot a router once a week it's c..p :-( I have no choice with this isp except for setting the modem in bridge mode and providing my own router, i even did a complete writeup and testscript on how to chrash their modems a year and a half ago and they still use the same firmware c..p Therre are 5 versions of the WNDR3700 :-) , hopefully your version can use openwrt or DD-WRT
