"Okay then...." [b]Tubbs opens the door to a large wide hallway. Open windows line the entire side of it. He realizes that this is a bridge of some sorts. At the opposite end lies a staircase with a massive door. ...this is the perfect place for an ambush.[/b]

[b]Everyone walks through the hallway. Light shining through each window like rays. Dust floats through the empty hallway.[/b] [b]Its quiet. And the group reaches the middle of the hallway.[/b] Anne: "I don't like this..." Ral'shul: "Agreed. My people would set an ambush here were this an assassination. Something is amiss. ....can someone tell me why that man is invisible still? We can all see him!"

*Shadow, still invisible, leaps back up onto the ceiling and crawls down the corridor, looking for a way out* [i]Their mistake, their problem. Now for the gate controls....[/i]

[b]Eric and harken ignore Tubbs as they fire at the shadow beasts, with deadly precision. The team groups together in a circle and begins to hold them off. Though the beasts seem to keep coming and coming.[/b] [b]The Arpat tribe, not used to head on combat, are being torn apart. [/b]

Adios amigos! [b]i open a portal at one end of the hallway behind a bunch of the enemies[/b] [b]it sucks them up and is on fire[/b]

[b]While Tubbs is distracted a rifleman comes through. But he fires in the most odd of places... Tubbs pants. The bullet rips through the fabric as Anne shoots the rifleman through the head. The Arpat tribe continues to hold but they are being killed quickly. Only 6 Remain of the original dozen.[/b]

[b]The lizards draw their own weapons and fire behind Tubbs. They are able to quickly dispatch the Bruting shadow beasts. But they keep coming. More and more flood the room. The Knights of Gwyn keep trying to cut them down but they too are dwindling in numbers.[/b] Anne: "We have to get to the door! Any ideas?!"

They both eye Tubbs for a moment before they continue their defence. The Knights keep swinging their blades to keep the enemy back as the pale shades use quick swings to kill them easily.[/b]

[b]The infiltration team is thrown out the other side. Everyone quickly gets up as the kage clan tries to open the door.[/b] Eric: "It's locked?! Harken! Get on that computer there!" [b]A blue lit computer is attached to the wall. Harken moves towards it and starts to hack it.[/b] Harken: "Oh boy. This is gunna take a while." Anne: "How long Harken?!" Harken: "Erghhhh...ten minutes." "TEN MINUTES?!" [b]The shadow beasts wonder where the group has gone. They turn towards the infiltration team and begin to sprint towards them.[/b]

I have an idea! [b]i close the portal and make a new huge one in front of us that blocks the hallway[/b] [b]the other portal is a bit far away from the Windows[/b] That should buy us some time. But just in case... [b]a huge wall of fire appears around us[/b]
