So, me and my small group of friends (on steam) are desperate for a game to screw around with that'll last a while. I have $40 so I'd need to be able to purchase a copy for everyone.
I'd really appreciate some suggestions! To specify, Steam games are what we're limited to.

Edited by Rhynerd: 8/23/2016 8:31:43 AMBlacklight Retribution should get down mileage for free. Same goes for Dirty Bomb. HAWKEN too. Risk of Rain should be cheap enough for the group, but whether they like a side-scrolling roguelike or not is the question. Same kinda goes for Dungeon of the Endless, but with less side-scrolling and more tower defense and hero management. The Sanctum games might be of some use if you enjoy shooters and tower defense games. E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy is going to be odd yet probably interesting. Cheap too. Trackmania games are always a fun arcade racer. They even have a free version that some argue is better than most of the paid versions. Quite a few of the other games mentioned already have my recommendation.
