If I could, I'd give you mine, as well as my right to own them. You are, of course, free to want them as you like, that's not up for debate at all. Never think it, actually, desire is what fuels the momentum of this game. I'm realistically referring to what will happen 3 days after they are released into the wild on the other side of the fence: a net reduction in overall vault space for all Xbox users, due to not wanting to dismantle most of the items, but not really having a reason to use them either. I used Jade Rabbit and Zen for about a day each...they are so covered in dust that I'm not even sure I can identify them anymore.
Oh, I strove for each of them, I even remember where I got them. Jade rabbit was an exotic drop from an ultra in the Cosmodrome, Zen was an engram drop in CoE with friends. Was hyped for both, leveled them and learned to use them right immediately...realized they were inferior to other options. Vault. I want to use them, I still like them, but there's just no justification for it when other options take less work and give the same or better results. Armor is up to preference and visual appeal; I don't care for most of the exlusive armor. Why? None of it glows green and matches my Dance Machines. The armor being exclusive is dumb anyways; none of it does anything special, it's just a graphic. Again, you can have them as far as I'm concerned, just leave me my cloak for 1 week each month...oh, wait, I never have to put the ugly thing on again after ROI. GG, cloak, GG.
And I will re-instate, the exclusives would likely never have existed without them being sponsored by the console companies. Even if they would have, we'd all be getting them late, because they would have been lower on the priorities list for the devs in the SDLC. At least the Sony deal got them produced sooner so they could get them off the backlog and focus on more content for all of us, and that's a net win. Personally, I'd give them all to anyone who wanted them, but I can understand the desire. We just need to remember that they might not even exist at all if they hadn't been paid for by someone third party, at least this way we can all eventually have them...why does that feel more like a burden than a privilege? I'm going to go dismantle another 4th Horseman now.

Honestly, it's not that I want them. It's that my deal with Bungie was, I buy this DLC, I get most of the content, the last bit I get in 1 year. Well, now that year is close to expiring, and Bungie hasn't paid up. Doesn't matter if I need it, they have a deal to hold up.

Unfortunately, their deal with us as players isn't terribly legally binding. Their deal to Sony is, and it's worth a lot more money. It's crap, but those are the cards we get dealt as consumers.

But their trust has been shattered.
