This gun is just crap compared to most ARs of the same archtype. It's perk turns it into a bullet hose in CQC but it has mediocre stability and an extremely low MAG which kinda ruins the gun. Let's change it to this.
Front lines, activates in close quarters.
-Greatly increased stability (Added counterbalance on top of the existing stability boost)
-Increased accuracy
-Increased firerate (Same as now, bullet hose firerate)
-Bottomless clip, kinda. Let the gun take from reserves as long as you're in CQC.
ALTERNATE TO BOTTOMLESS CLIP IF THAT'S TOO MUCH.
-Increase MAG size to 55-60 and give the gun a passive +2 armor boost when held to match the shields on the guns design.
This would solve the MAIN issues with the gun, stability being a slight issue is solved with the extra stability from passive counterbalance. The BIGGEST issue which is MAG size from when it turns into a bullet hose would be solved by giving it a bottomless clip in close quarters.
It'd be a worthy exotic without being stupidly OP. Let's be real here, bottomless clip would help push kills when front lines activate but it wouldn't let you mow down an enemy team even with a bottomless clip because 9 times outta 10 the whole enemy team will just shoot you when you're that close anyways. So this perk change would be exotic, solve the issues the gun currently has, and it wouldn't break the game.

Love the bottomless clip suggestion. 👍

If they extended the range at which the exotic perk activates, boosted the state buff a bit, and let the gun have the same if not more impact when the perk does activate, (which is kind of a stretch as is), the gun could be at exotic level. All of those additions you spoke about would be welcomed too, of course.

As a warlock main I completely agree. +1 internet point for you sir for not mentioning warlocks and hunters exotic. I'd also add buff the Titan shotgun range.

It'd be cool if it gave you that armor boost when you were ADS just to give you an edge in gunfights.
-
Refill the mag when front lines proc's?
-
Actually, aside from a possible better sight and a small bump in stability, the Fabian Strategy isn't that bad IMO. I ran a while match in Iron Banner using only Fabian Stratedy and Immobius and I got a fair amount of kills with them.
-
It just sucks.
-
yeah, if this was like a primary version of SGA wouldve been cool, but, its not. It's fun to use still.
-
Plz bungo
-
Needs a better sight also. The Iron sight sucks.

Bump.

Or seeing as you need to be so close to people for the main perk to activate, don't take the impact off for the rate of fire. To make it feel exotic, keep the existing impact stat while buffing RoF and stability. If that's too much, at least allow more impact considering you are at risk of the enemy switching and shotgunning you.

This gun as it stands is complete tripe, totally sub par and unfit for purpose. And what's with the big shield on the front that doesn't add armor or block bullets as one would expect if fired upon in real life, it serves no purpose at all please explain the addition of this useless gun and how you came up with its moronic perks.

If you challenge a tlaloc with this garbage exotic the only way you will beat him is if he is A. AFK or B. Laughably incompetent and sometimes not even then

Bumpitty Bump Bump

At some point someone at bungie will take notice to the fabian strategy post, there have been lots of post about changing the Titan weapon, I hope someone does something about it, I enjoy the Titan character and I would like the fabian strategy to be more like the Titan, bump this post

One of my buddies had a op idea of activating a weak juggernaut shield when close to an enemy. lol
-
Bump!
-
+2 armor only while held, not equipped right?
-
Or we could just let it keep the impact once front lines activates and put explosive rounds in its second perk tree.
I'm joking.
Seriously though I really like this idea. It seems pretty good and I think more people, myself included, would start using this gun again.

Bump! Warlock has a great fusion rifle and a superb scout rifle. Hunters has the one and only stillpiercer and ace of spades which are both great guns. What about titans? A completely useless shotgun and an even worse auto rifle.. Come on Bungie, really?
