Deej was speaking with Destin from IGN and mentioned that details regarding exclusives could be found on the www.destinythegame.com website. After digging around a bit (seriously, it's not clear where to look), I found this page which looks like it's got the info we're looking for. The problem is, every single thing on that page - whether it was introduced in Taken King or is planned for Rise of Iron - is tagged with the single asterisk that at the bottom of the page says "Timed exclusive until at least Fall of 2017." The stuff from Taken King was supposed to be available to Xbox players this fall, I thought? Because on Sony's Destiny page, it mentions "Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2016." Granted, it looks like that needs to be updated because the content on that page also includes Rise of Iron as well as TTK content, but clearly Fall of 2016 was on the timeline at one point.
So you can understand the confusion, right? What's actually exclusive, and for how long? Will TTK stuff become available to Xbox players this fall as expected, or has that been delayed until next year? Can you guys please let us know?
EDIT: Please make sure and respond/upvote so that this topic reaches Deej and Cozmo's attention. Thanks!

Edited by queenmeeny77: 8/19/2016 12:20:23 AMInteresting how this happened just as MS announced they beat Sony in sales for the first time with the One S. I'm not salty about it, I don't trust the industry enough to have banked on them being released when we were lead to believe in the first place. Just an observation. All i want is that iron banner cloak!

I'm a completionist, so the missing Grimoire is annoying. But the part that's really crappy is the change in plan. I was definitely under the impression that these exclusives only stay that way for a year (a year-long exclusive is stupid, but that was the plan, so oh well). It's also dumb that they become not exclusive when the next game comes out. What's the point?
-
The weapons and maps maybe be meh in some people opinion but for people who want to max out their grimore on xbox, having to wait another year is kind of shitty. Just wish this stupid exclusivity bullshit would just stop already.
-
I just want the stuff from the sublime engrams. The warlock ones specifically, everything else is meh.

Fall 2017. We miss, some armour, a strike, and 2 PS exclusives. The exclusive trike has the most mechanics in a strike. The Zen meteor and Jade Rabbit...Meh. That's a personal opinion. Armour? Eh, that's also personal. All in all, while its not really benefitting, it's not that bad. We don't really lose anything. Since we never had it to begin with.

Article on Facebook just confirmed that asstervision and Sony have screwed the Xbox community again. If your on Xbox don't expect to see any exclusive content till next fall maybe. They are getting away with this shot thanks to saying *at least* it's way past time that we Xbox players stopped taking this kind of crap. There is no reason for them to hold that content back. I think that this issue should be spammed on every fourm topic and in any future chat with anyone from bungie. At the very least they could give us a LEGITIMATE REASON for the 2 year delay. Funny thing is by the time we get the content Destiny 2 will be out.

They only reply if you are a streamer or they have the ability to answer the question by passing the buck.
-
Dare I say it but cod does it so much better exclusives should be 30 max or not at all not a whole 12 months! Then to only tell people one month before they are due to get them whoops you need to wait 2 years to get these

If you quoted, then at least can mean a lot. There could be something in the agreement that provides for an extension, or opens it back up for Microsoft to make a move. So it could be that Sony has extended the agreement but possibly not updated their own page, as they seem to be network challenged given the rigidity of PSN, security issues, and technical issues. Or it could be that updating that just isn't a priority. It could also be a Bungie typo, or only be about current exclusives which they many consider y2 ones to not be current anymore. But all of that is just speculation. Bungie and or Sony are the only ones likely to have the facts.

At this point deej needs to be evaluated as an asset to the company, that interview made me cringe, and all he does is ramble and dodge questions.

I just want Xûr to sell Jade Rabbit already

Thumbs down bungie.

Hello? Anyone working today?

The exotics. Strike, and armors.

This needs to be addressed asap without their usual snarky cryptic responses.

We all want an official answer!

I summon thee cozmo.

https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/211268819?sort=0&page=0 I think they confirmed that it's being kept exclusive till fall 2017, haven't watched the vid myself though.

Edited by juharr: 8/18/2016 7:24:28 PMI'm bumping as I want a straight forward answer to this. Though I'm not going to hold my breath.

Basically we will get them when our light level is much higher and they are rendered useless.
-
Even the Interview with DEEJ was not clear, the interviewer asked the question WRONG..and got the answer for that question

What the hell is bungie doing
