Deej was speaking with Destin from IGN and mentioned that details regarding exclusives could be found on the www.destinythegame.com website. After digging around a bit (seriously, it's not clear where to look), I found this page which looks like it's got the info we're looking for. The problem is, every single thing on that page - whether it was introduced in Taken King or is planned for Rise of Iron - is tagged with the single asterisk that at the bottom of the page says "Timed exclusive until at least Fall of 2017." The stuff from Taken King was supposed to be available to Xbox players this fall, I thought? Because on Sony's Destiny page, it mentions "Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2016." Granted, it looks like that needs to be updated because the content on that page also includes Rise of Iron as well as TTK content, but clearly Fall of 2016 was on the timeline at one point.
So you can understand the confusion, right? What's actually exclusive, and for how long? Will TTK stuff become available to Xbox players this fall as expected, or has that been delayed until next year? Can you guys please let us know?
EDIT: Please make sure and respond/upvote so that this topic reaches Deej and Cozmo's attention. Thanks!

I have found this to be a atrocious practice since Microsoft started it with CoD. Activision, Bungie and PSN have taken it to a whole new level. Utterly bullshit.

*weekly update* DeeJ: Um SIVA are new and exciting The new and exciting new strike has a new and exciting ogre in it that doesn't have an eye Felwinters Peak is both new AND exciting The new soundtrack is new and exciting-- we made it ourselves so we wouldn't have to pay Marty and... um... DeeJ out

Where are the COWARDS Deej-nutz and Cozmo-politan? These people F***ing suck at their job.
-
Dear community, 🖕 Sincerely, Bungie
-
Deej and Cosmo only respond to ass kissers and casual ambiguous request threads. They don't discuss anything of relevance with the community.
-
Bump, I want to hear it from Deej and Cozmo. It seems shady that they're not saying anything.
-
-
-
I'll bump, although it is pretty clear that Bungie is ignoring/avoiding this topic. It's absurd to think they haven't seen this yet.
-
-
There needs to at least be a comment from someone at Bungie. :/

Edited by Young Padawan: 8/19/2016 12:50:41 AMThis has already been confirmed by Activision, so don't expect an answer from Cosm/Deej. Fall 2017 time is accurate... http://www.polygon.com/2016/8/18/12536688/destiny-rise-of-iron-ps4-exclusive-taken-king-fall-201 Another thing to note, the deal is in between Activision/Sony and not Bungo/Sony. Bungo can't do anything just like Treyarch can't do anything with PS players getting map packs 1 month early...

Upvoted. I agree, there needs to be a statement here.

They're ghosts right now lol. Thy hiding out from everyone.

Based on his answer in the interview with IGN it seems that taken King exclusives are being extended till 2017. They've always used the words at least when describing how long it's exclusive which leaves the door open for them to push it out further. My guess is either the exclusive content with rise of iron wasn't enough in their minds or Sony paid to have it extended.

Edited by queenmeeny77: 8/19/2016 12:20:23 AMInteresting how this happened just as MS announced they beat Sony in sales for the first time with the One S. I'm not salty about it, I don't trust the industry enough to have banked on them being released when we were lead to believe in the first place. Just an observation.
