Deej was speaking with Destin from IGN and mentioned that details regarding exclusives could be found on the www.destinythegame.com website. After digging around a bit (seriously, it's not clear where to look), I found this page which looks like it's got the info we're looking for. The problem is, every single thing on that page - whether it was introduced in Taken King or is planned for Rise of Iron - is tagged with the single asterisk that at the bottom of the page says "Timed exclusive until at least Fall of 2017." The stuff from Taken King was supposed to be available to Xbox players this fall, I thought? Because on Sony's Destiny page, it mentions "Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2016." Granted, it looks like that needs to be updated because the content on that page also includes Rise of Iron as well as TTK content, but clearly Fall of 2016 was on the timeline at one point.
So you can understand the confusion, right? What's actually exclusive, and for how long? Will TTK stuff become available to Xbox players this fall as expected, or has that been delayed until next year? Can you guys please let us know?
EDIT: Please make sure and respond/upvote so that this topic reaches Deej and Cozmo's attention. Thanks!

I understand why they won't reply. It's not Deejs call, and in no way, shape, or form cozmos. After speaking with some employees, they said there are voices that get heard more than others within the company. A lot of the developers just want to make a great game, period. But there are others who want it to be "their game, their vision".

Activision is a company that cares about money and shareholders before anything. So to keep their shareholders happy, they must think like a business and go with growing trends. The PS4 outsold the Xbox One..... Hands down. So, Activision made an agreement with Sony. If trends change, Activision may negotiate with Microsoft when their contract with Sony is fulfilled. As of now, the Scorpio looks better on paper then the Neo. Activision may jump on this opportunity when it arises. Until then, PS4 players get exclusive content to COD and Destiny games. This is a business, not a democracy. Trends and actual sales are more important then customer satisfaction. Infinite Warfare is going to make a ton of money because Activision will advertise properly, but over 1 million YouTube dislikes proves there is already customer dissatisfaction. Our views and opinions are pointless unless we quit buying the products. But that will never happen, and Activision knows this.
-
wheter this gets up voted or down voted, or is trending, you will never get a reply from bungies one sided paper boys unless it is a company destroying glitch. I don't trust these so called community managers that have no managing capabilities what so ever. they show up to preach then go to their circle jerk after.

PlayStation player here, and I don't support this. Truthfully, the exclusives are not very good. The only good exclusive was Hawkmoon. I didn't get Hawkmoon until the day after it was nerfed (the week before Xbox players got it). In all honesty, you guys aren't missing out on much. I understand the frustration. Not getting content is a drag. I dealt with the same thing during Xbox's timed exclusivity of Call of Duty. I'm just glad it was only a month difference. An entire year or more is unacceptable. If I had to wait an entire year for Call of Duty maps, I would have switched solely to Battlefield.

Man what a dick move from Sony and Activision.
-
*AT LEAST* fall of 2016. This topic is done.
-
I'm sure XBOXers have their fair share of exclusives...just not in Destiny.
-
Keywords in all that is "at least". In other words, you get them when you get them.
-
They won't reply. They can't be bothered.
-
I understand if we on Xbox don't get the exclusives, that's a business decision most likely handled by Activision rather than Bungie so that isn't anything that can be changed at this point. And the content isn't groundbreaking that we would be missing out on. However, I would like them to at least be upfront about what's going to be happening with those particular exclusives. They're making it worse by trying to sweep it under the rug rather than just being straight with the community.
-
I'm pretty sure it's 2017....so us Xbox players will have to wait until Destiny 2 to use them
-
I can feel what the Xbox players are saying but, in reference to getting content you paid for ps4 and Xbox players did not pay for these exclusives Sony did. Maybe this deal was some sort of payback for Microsoft stealing tomb raider away for a year. It be cool if xbox players could get some halo weapons and armor in a exclusive deal too. Then us ps4 players would know what it feels like.
-
The drops on the exclusive stuff remain really low so it's not like everyone would be running around with them, especially the sublime gear. Trust me you won't miss it.
-
I don't personally care if xbox gets the exclusives or not but the way Bungie is handling the situation and similar ones is frustrating.
-
Exclusives suck. I play on PlayStation and even i hate when there's timed exclusive content.
-
To summarise. They get stuff because they bought a different console and you cant have that stuff on the console you bought until we say so. But you are still playing the same game. Its basically communism, some guardians are more equal than others.
-
So Bungie lied. Bungie: "PS exclusive content will only be exclusive for a year guys. Don't worry about it." *a year passes* Bungie: "Uh, people are upgrading to next Gen now so let's make the deal favor PS. I know! Let's make TTK exotics still exclusive for another year! Screw you Xbox players (the majority of our fanbase). We lied. Now you have to wait 2 years!"

Well, if all this is true, I presume no one on the Xbox will be buying Destiny. I wonder how much of this is Activisions doing, and I wonder how it will hit them if Xbox player do decide to say bollocks to Destiny 2 over this, this bullshit.
-
Its important to remember that this is content Xbox players paid for a year ago.

D2 should be coming out around that time so who cares. I would probably still use my Mida over the Jade and my spindle over the Zen anyway.
