Deej was speaking with Destin from IGN and mentioned that details regarding exclusives could be found on the www.destinythegame.com website. After digging around a bit (seriously, it's not clear where to look), I found this page which looks like it's got the info we're looking for. The problem is, every single thing on that page - whether it was introduced in Taken King or is planned for Rise of Iron - is tagged with the single asterisk that at the bottom of the page says "Timed exclusive until at least Fall of 2017." The stuff from Taken King was supposed to be available to Xbox players this fall, I thought? Because on Sony's Destiny page, it mentions "Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2016." Granted, it looks like that needs to be updated because the content on that page also includes Rise of Iron as well as TTK content, but clearly Fall of 2016 was on the timeline at one point.
So you can understand the confusion, right? What's actually exclusive, and for how long? Will TTK stuff become available to Xbox players this fall as expected, or has that been delayed until next year? Can you guys please let us know?
EDIT: Please make sure and respond/upvote so that this topic reaches Deej and Cozmo's attention. Thanks!

Here the reply you guys are looking for. https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/211340321?sort=0&page=0

When they don't respond. It's a silent answer. Xbox one gets less for paying the same price. Oh well, that's why we have the game on both systems.

Do not expect a reply. It's Brokeback Bungie Mountain time for these guys.

Dustin asked "What about the Year 2 Playstation exclusives like Zen Meteor, when will we see those on Xbox One?" Now, if you take that in the context of all the exclusives that came out the same time as Zen Meteor as "exclusives like Zen Meteor" then Deej's response is accurate because those exclusives haven't been out for a full year. That I understand, but it still doesn't clarify weather or not we will get Echo Chamber or Sector 618 and the other exclusives that originally were included in the TTK release. That's how I feel about it anyway, regardless I'm still getting ROI and I'm going to enjoy every bit of it.

I dont care about the weapons, but the strike. That i want

Edited by Technohydra: 8/19/2016 7:09:13 PM
"Timed exclusive until at least Fall 2016."
There's your answer. At least means it could be then at earliest, or it could be longer. I don't understand why everyone is so messed up about this. Do you have Hawkmoon? Yes? Then you already have the only exclusive that is any good at anything and worth owning. Monte is fun, but not over the top, Jade Rabbit is not the much-hyped, never proven "low-key meta", as a Colavance's or Badger CCl can do everything it can do and more, but without having to dick with terrible stability or a chince ammo management gimmick. your average 1KYS is as good as, if not better than the Zen Meteor; hell P&T is better than it, and that's not saying a lot. What else? Oh, do you like CoD? Do you like groups of unskilled dickless little shits skating around with Universal Remotes and running in packs with ARs, team firing everyone to death in .15 to .25 seconds? Do you like literally having no option for a special other than sidearm or shotgun? Hate scout rifles and pulses? This is the map for you, because that's the formula. There are no lines of site, there are no defensible positions, there is no best way to make an escape or move around this map, it's just a rush rush rush map. The gameplay always sucks on it, the largest fire team with the most AR and shotgun toting titans always wins, and you just sort of drift off, patiently waiting for the match to end while dying as few times as possible. Once in a while, you have an honest game there, but it's primarily just people using rush tactics and cheese to make sure you never have a chance to actually compete. Worst map in the rotation, wish it would faze out, anyone that likes it would likely be happier in CoD. Don't even bring up exclusive armor, all armor does the same thing, it just looks different. And most of the exclusive armor looks like you created it by coating a set of fishnet stockings in superglue and drug it through the bin behind a fetish sex shop. The one exception is the hunter cloak, which just looks out of place, as opposed to wearing an eviscerated wolf on your head...I only like it better because I make chainmail as a hobby. Honestly, all the things people seem salty about are things that I routinely wish were something not quite so shit, and that's the essence of it. Besides, you didn't pay for them, Sony did, it's not like you're not getting your money's worth.

Fall of 2017.

Edited by crazycazza95: 8/19/2016 9:42:37 PMOk lets clear a few things up. Yes i am an xbox player but this is my view of things. Imagine 2 employees (x and y) working the same position in a company. Now imagine X gets a pay increase because they are popular and the employers tell Y "don't worry you will get the same next year". Y waits a whole for the pay increase only to find that X gets another and you are told you won't get the same amount for AT LEAST a few months. Now imagine you are employee Y. You would feel pretty left out and annoyed at how everyone else gets benefits while you get neglected. Edit: What i am trying to say is if it was xbox that got the exclusives then the playstation people would be crying.

I hope Deej and others at BUNGIE read this! When crap like this happens it makes people lose hope in a company. If they want to make destiny a 10 year game treat your player base better and don't say "oh you might get it one day..." PLUS if PlayStation allows for cross platform play and BUNGIE uses it the game needs to be the same on all platforms.
-
There is nothing worth wild on the PS Exclusives why are we as xbox players even worried about this? the guns suck the maps are not that great and the strikes everyone will just back out like the black garden
-
PS4 can keep those lame exclusives. You people only want them because u cant have them. Get over it or go buy a PS4

Edited by AlamoCity: 8/19/2016 8:37:29 PMI'm a bit confused as well. The items on that page with the asterisk are Rise of Iron, not Taken King, exclusives correct?
-
Hahahaha so funny more Xboxs players are crying

Edited by Scrub: 8/19/2016 10:28:04 AMHere's exactly what Cozmo will tell you. "The phrase "at least" in every description of Destiny’s timed exclusivity gives the companies the wiggle room to extend the window, as they have done here." -Polygon "At least" "Read the fine print" please. Ok? if Bungie changes the contract without the permission or agreement of Sony, it would be a breach of contract. Sony will not satisfy it's competitions players/customers...Especially after they paid BUNGIE for the contract for exclusives in the first place. Now pipe down and suck it up. Its a CONTRACT that cannot be broken, even if extended.

I got an idea what if u put the exclusive items on Xur (Aka.agentofnine) that make him usefull again for a short time No More exlusive. Shit anymore make it fair for those who payed alot for this game. If that happens there will be a change for Xur
i Hope u agree :p
-
I'm pretty sure the only Playstation exclusives are the Timeless Tereshkova ship, Languid Sea Crucible map and the Show of Strength quest line.
-
I just found out that XBox is finally getting an exclusive!!! Nerfed fusion rifles will no longer be on PS4.

I understand why they won't reply. It's not Deejs call, and in no way, shape, or form cozmos. After speaking with some employees, they said there are voices that get heard more than others within the company. A lot of the developers just want to make a great game, period. But there are others who want it to be "their game, their vision".
