I'm taking 12-14 credits this semester. My question goes to those who have experienced college recently, or who are in college now: Do you have time to play Destiny? How often?
Being someone who loves to stream Pvp on twitch, I certainly hope I have time (private matchmaking launches a week after I begin school).
Edit: I certainly hope my roommate doesn't mind me streaming... as long as it doesn't interrupt our study time. I'm just paranoid I'll get a kid that does nothing but study/sleep/eat
Edit: Thanks for all the responses, guardians! Looks like I will have some time after all, after I take care of everything else.

Trust me man, take this time to break away from Destiny. Your future self will thank you. Destiny can be an all consuming force, it is not the vice you want in an environment that cultivates your future career. Games come and go. The debt you acquire demands constant vigilance to pay off... Good luck man. It's hard to give up something you enjoy, but I found that quitting in between expansions when the game is stale is the best time to move on.

Yes. College is a time when you think you have responsibilities but you really don't. Just use your time wisely and you'll be fine. You can't bs for hours then expect to play destiny for hours and still do ok in class, but the great thing about college is that it's on you. I'm far busier now then when I was in college or law school for that and still find time to play. You just need to prioritize and budget your time.

I took 18 to 20 credits each semester and 24 my last semester. I worked full time and still had time to do homework and play videogames. I'm also pretty sure I didn't sleep for those three years.

You're a player of Destiny. Do you have time for college?
-
Destiny should be on the bottom of your priority list in college. There will be plenty of time and better games four or five years from now.
-
Believe it or not, you'll actually have quite a bit of free time on your hands which you can use for gaming or other recreational stuff.
-
As long as you manage your time wisely, you should be fine. That said, don't make Destiny your priority over studying/work etc.
-
what do you want more, a college degree or a high k/d?
-
If you're only on 12 to 14 credits, you'll be fine. I'm an Environmental Science major taking 16 to 18 per semester with 2 to 3 labs and I've still got plenty of spare time. (There's always the weekend too.)

Priorities mate, priorities. Who needs a degree anyway?

Not if you have a girlfriend/boyfriend and a job

That all just depends on your schedule and your level of commitment to your hobby. For example, back in college I was able to pull a 40 hr shift management job, 14-16 credit hour semesters, AND drive almost two hours to the University of Tennessee to see my now ex girlfriend. And I did that for two years straight. Still found time to play games. Not as much as I would have liked, mind you. But responsibilities come first after all.
