I've seen these 2 questions everywhere for the xbox version and sometimes for the PS4 version of the Rise of Iron so I'm going to answer it for ya. The questions are:
-Q1: Will I get the gjallarwing if I pre-ordered before it was announced?
-A: yes, bungie confirmed this in a live stream.
-Q2: In the xbox store the iron gjallarwing (and iron gjallarhorn) pre-order bonus is only mentioned to come with the collector's version of Rise of Iron and not mentioned in the regular pre-order version. Does that mean I have to buy the collectors edition in order to get the iron gjallarwing too?!?
-A: No, if you buy the regular Destiny: rise of Iron pre-order version you will get both the Iron Gjallarhorn and Gjallarwing. If you purchased the regular pre-order version you can check by going to "My Games and Apps", press start button on Destiny and select "manage game", scroll down to the bottom of the "Installed" section and there you will see the expansion and the pre-order bonuses. If not, go to the "Ready to install" tab and you will see them there.
Hope this helps any confused guardians out there :)
*NEW INFO: Bungie has confirmed in an interview with IGN that people who pre-ordered the iron Gjallarhorn, it will be in your postmaster to pick up BUT it will be locked and unusable until you finish the OG Ghallarhorn quest

Do you know if I have to do the same quest for the Gjallarhorn as I do with the Iron Gjallarhorn?
