Upgrading from Legacy
I have a physical copy of the original game (360 version) and have upgraded with digital expansions at each interval. I have attempted to navigate and make sense of the "Bungie Help" pages on what a player in my position has to do exactly to be ready for the Rise of Iron expansion coming. Needless to say I am confused on if I have to buy everything again or just the original game since the expansions were all digital. I have been playing Destiny for almost 2 years now, and while I put off by "Bungie/Activision's" buy it all again model they first come out with I am hoping for some leniency on my wallet. And while I think a simple 2 minute video on the official youtube site would benefit everyone with a simple explanation, I would settle with just knowing what I have to do.

You have until august 16th to sign into your live account on an xbox one and redownload destiny the base game (if you bought the digital version). The first two expansions are free to download as well from the Microsoft store however you will need to repurchase an access code for the Taken King either onlinr or through a major retailer. Ive come to accept the fact that Bungievision is not going to change their ways of shafting their loyal customers for the sake of a few extra profit margin percentage points.
