Looking at your kd I doubt you would run into the cheaters. I'm not trying to bag on your kd by any means (Mine is lower than yours ) but with an avergae 1.0kd you arent gonna run into the cheaters. Cheating isn't worth a 1.0. These people usually have a 1.5 or higher kd. SBMM should prevent you from this.
Again I only bring up kd to make a point. When I play by myself I rarely see cheating. I may get thrown in a game midway and see lag, but that's about it. However, when I play with friends who have great, competition worthy kds I always see red bar warriors and other various cheats. It is amazing what some are willing to do to achieve high kds.

I would say you are wrong. Because if someone is good at Destiny, he wont use cheats. If he start using cheats, its because he sucks in this game therefore his 'before cheating' kd is shit. And I dont believe someone would use cheats long enough to change his KD dramaticly (Without getting bored/banned).
-
Fair assumption, but doubtful. Most don't use their main accounts or even just one account to hack or cheat, so as to not have an account they care about banned. One is less likely to use a Gt they've had for a long time to use a new modded controller or join up with a friend using a lagswitch or can ddos. Once reported an account is merely banned, not an ip. Therefore you can create as many accounts as you want from the same console. For some it might be about getting a higher kd, for others it's just getting sweet loot. Again, fair assumption, but it missed the mark.

So what your saying is that since I have a 1.67 K.D then I'm automatically a cheater for using The Last Word?
-
No. He is saying that since you have a 1.67 kd, you are more likely to run into cheaters.

Edited by Windgemon: 8/9/2016 5:28:28 PMI know, I'm just saying lately I've been being called a cheater for having a high K.D, but lately I've been joining crucible matches where an entire team gets kicked (these players weren't in a fireteam) and I'll be the only one remaining for the rest of the match depending on how much time is left. Even when I lose in these matches I still tend to get kill streaks. As for the people on the other team they will say things like "hope you enjoyed being the only player in your team" or "I'm gonna ban you from the PlayStation servers and acting like somebody who owns PlayStation" (not gonna give any names because there has been several).
-
Not at all. You inferred that. "It's amazing what some are willing to do...." I didn't mention TLW or any specific weapon either.
-
True, but then again there has been several occasions people have called me a hacker for using Kepris Sting in crucible (Don't know if I spelled that correctly). Whenever people go as far as cheating now days it's mainly ddos and exploiting a specific error code (Baboon) to kick people from Trails of Osiris.
-
You have 1.63 according to trials report
-
Edited by Windgemon: 8/9/2016 5:31:59 PMI rarely play Trails of Osiris anymore. I do enjoy it from time to time, but it's slowly gotten worse as your chances of finding ddos teams increases at 8 wins.
-
Not my findings... I do carries regularly now and have found that you can usually counter ddos. That is if you have a carry partner like mine that constantly rerouts packets sent to any of our routers.
-
Yessss. I always see new videos posted of people getting ddos'd. Not sure how bungie can fix this one, aside from bans. That's assuming the reporting system is accurately weeding through the "Im reporting you cuz you beat me" vs the legit reports. Not sure why you'd be reported for the gauntlets. I know there was an issue where people were getting the ohk backstab without actually being behind someone. Other than that it just sounds like they were salty. Lol.
-
Possibly, but as I've said, I have run into a few in trials and generally the advantages they have are far more extreme than this. I've also seen plenty of videos where people claim they've caught cheats and the majority of them are just examples of bad lag. Essentially all this video shows is a guy whose wrecking with hawksaw. The TTK is abnormally fast, granted, but that can be caused by lag on either players end. Its a problem because it leads to people blaming other players for flaws on Bungies end.
-
Edited by ThisMahSwamp: 8/9/2016 5:18:37 PMModded controller, particularly one that offers rapid fire. Hawksaw's TTK at optimal range and regardless of whether it rolled full auto or not is exactly 0.83 seconds. What we saw in the video is a weapon, which I use on a regular basis, firing at rates far beyond what it should be capable of. The gun is killing in half the time it should. There's bad lag, then there's what OP posted....blatant cheating. Is it "lag switches"? No....it's a modded controller through and through. I've seen how spoopy Bungo's connections can be, but what is shown in that video is without a doubt something more than mere lag.
-
Well that's the issue, is it firing at twice the speed or just killing in half the time. I didn't notice it firing any faster than usual, but I can't watch it again now, but if its just the TTK then that could easily be lag.
-
It's firing notably faster.
