It shares some common mmo vocabulary with wow. Pretty basic stuff for any video game, frankly.
But please stop asking for transmog and armor-set bonuses. I'm gonna be pissed if these things show up in destiny 2. Both are huge steps back for aesthetics. We don't need transmog, because we have shaders, and we don't need armor set bonuses making everyone look the same. Not only that, it would nerf exotic armor when they interrupt the bonus.
Mmos are enormous games with different mechanics and economies, you can't just copy-paste what worked in one to another and expect it to work flawlessly, or even uncripple itself later.
I'm sorry VoG gear is gone. It was the best warlock set yet. Maybe if we ever get another vex raid, it'll return as normal mode armor.

You are wrong my friend. Transmog is coming and I'm happy.

I'm sorry you feel that way

The issue is, that each class only has a couple of legendary armor sets to choose from. And 2 of them are hard to get (Trials + full Hive). So everyone pretty much looks the same, just slightly different coloring. Meanwhile we all of this blue gear lying around that looks really good - some of it way better than some of the legendary stuff. It almost seems like a waste since you only wear those blue sets as intermediate stuff until you find something better while leveling up -- and then never again. It would add more diversity and customizability.

You sound sick

Edited by Soul_Eater_42: 8/10/2016 1:25:01 PMUh...wouldn't transmog be a step forward for aesthetics, not backwards? And shaders don't really help when you have ugly ass legendary armor to choose from over better-looking Rare armor. Not to mention there are a lot of old Year 1 armor and class items we miss wearing.

Even if they were to add armor set bonuses, it can't be anything drastically game-changing, kind of similar to the perks on a Ghost.

With the transfusion system we don't need transmit, but they do need to make it so you can make blues and lower become legendary with the perk and stat boost. That there would add loads of varying armour looks. And I agree armour set bonuses would be stupid, kills diversity.

Being against transmog or whatever you want to call an appearance based system is plain stupid. How would me wearing something based on looks effect your time in the game?
