Anri stopped in place, as the straight sword in her right hand ignited in flames. She began to circle JT, either waiting to attack or to counter, whatever the case may be.

The Marshal needed to test her defences in this fight seeing as he was versatile, and fairly skilled in both offensive and defensive maneuvers. While he wasn't the best swordsman it was still a preferred outcome to using his fists, because getting his armour dented would be an annoyance. So The Marshal spun in a complete circle, and slashed at her throat with his left blade in the process, which meant it was coming from her right.

Anri quickly swung at the blade coming at her with her own, trying to bash it away. Using her shield, she slammed into JT, as if trying to stun him.

As the pair of weapons collided it sent JT recoiling back to his original stance, where he had been shield bashed in the solar plexus, which forced him to take a few steps behind him. When he regained his composure he sprinted towards Anri and jumped for her, attempting to bring his right foot crashing down on her shield. Hopefully his armour's weight coupled with his own would dent the item.

And it did deny the shield, unsurprisingly. Anri was sent back, slightly cursing and dropping the shield. She raised Luck in both hands, assuming a more defensive stance.

To hell with swordsmanship, I'm a brawler, JT thought to himself as he placed the relics that were his swords back on his hips, before he cracked the knuckles of his organic right arm from beneath the armour he wore. The Marshal started to sprint towards Anri.

"Every damn time..." Anri sheathed her sword and raised her fists, the right one a leather glove and the other a steel gauntlet.

"I highly suggest you get a blade ready..." JT had an ace up his sleeve which he was happy to use. His left hand folded back and onto his forearm, eventually becoming just a set of plates to cover it. A set of six long, triangular strips protruded from the hole where his hand had been and took place mainly round his wrists, but it still had a point on it. It was basically a big industrial drill, or the Big Daddy drill for human hands.

"Really? Ugh..." Anri drew her sword once more.
