Is anyone else inconsistent as hell? Lol
Okay look I'm not a pvp god or anything. Hella average. BUT I have games (usually in a row) where I have like 25 kills and 4 deaths. Every shot is on point. Snipes? Pssshhh hitting like a shotgun main claims snipers hit. All I can think is hot diggty damn I'm -blam!-ing killing this game. Then for about 10 games in a row i may scrape by with a crispy .10 KD. Trials? Trials? Shoot I'll smack people with 2200 Elos and then lose to people with 1400 Elos.. Blows my mind how inconsistent I am and it's absolutely nerve racking. Lol. Any one else feel my pain?

Probably just some lag, your own variation in playing (can be ur best all the time) and opponents skill level.

Happens to most of us lol. I'll have several good games followed by several bad games. Doesn't bother me, it's just how it is.

2 RepliesI am having the exact same super frustrating problem. The good matches, things are smooth and act like they're supposed to. Then I get in the terrible matches and my reticle won't move properly, it does weird circle movements when I'm pushing one direction and slides around certain points, like enemy combatant heads.. LOL! It's a very distinct difference in where the game is working with me and then when the game is fighting my every input. I'm getting beat by players who aren't better, their game is just working better than mine at the moment. I'm not against losing or being beat, I'm not a PvP god and don't expect to win every engagement. At most I only expect half, or a little less, to be honest. You are not alone my friend :) Good Luck!

Yes....I will have about 5 games in a row where my kd is between 1.9 to 6.00 and then 5 games where I'm between .6 to 1.00.

Yeah, that's me to a T. In fact, last week was amazing as Mayhem Clash featured some of the highest scores I've ever attained. People will argue I used "ability spamming" for my wins, but it was a two-way street - I got 1-shotted just easily as they did. I think my mastery of the class itself is why Mayhem appeals to me so much more. Removing the guns from the equation makes it a question of your ability mastery, not gun skill. Some people tend to forget that Destiny is not CoD and that space magic is a component of the game to be mastered.

All the damn time haha. I'll have matches in trials where I do insanely well, then others where I just get stomped. I mostly play trials and rumble though. I've always been fairly bad at 6v6.

Sometimes I'll finish multiple games with something terrible like a ,5 KD, then sometimes I'll win 3 rumble matches in a row. So inconsistent

I'm noticing a similar trend. But I will add this. Call me crazy... After playing at my best and winning several games in a row, I notice my spawns start changing. My entire team will be at one spawn, while I'm spawning with the enemy, surrounded and killed instantly. I know it sounds a little conspiracy theory-ish, but the trend has been very consistent. I'm a solo player, and when the game spawns me with the enemy consistently, I sort of feel like the game is purposely trying to manipulate my stats, like keep my KD closer to a 1.0 and my win percent as close to 50. I play for fun, so i don't care about my stats. Just feels like I'm spawned with enemy intentionally, and being punished for winning. This spawning issue has allowed teams with significantly lower ELOs to stomp my teams into the ground. Again, I'm a solo player, and the spawning issue probably wouldn't effect my win/loss ratio if I were playing with a fire team.

I can confirm the same, perhaps a little less dramatic but relly noticeable.

I've been very inconsistent lately, normally I'd have a kd of about 1.2 but I've been playing terrible lately, my kd is now about 1.0. I'm a yoyo pvper lol

I'll be on fire for a good 3-4 games, then just enter dead goat mode and completely drag for another 8 games.
