In 2045, the United States of America began launching missions to the biggest moon of the gas giant Saturn: Titan. The mission? To begin collecting gas, oil, and other fuels. It lasted a short while before conflict.
In 2051, the Chinese decided America had the right idea, and launched oil expeditions of its own to Titan. Conflict had begun. The U.S was uncomfortable with the idea of fuel collection alongside communist forces. So, in 2053, the United States government invested in research and development of newer, better, and more destructive military weaponry to help combat China in the inevitable situation in which war breaks out. China followed, doing the same in 2055.
The United States began to launch expeditions to other moons and celestial objects in 2077, colonizing and draining them of resources. China once again kept up in the race, starting with Zhengfu in 2078.
On March 21st, 2081, China became outraged at the malfunction of three drills all over Titan, blaming sabotage by the U.S. War was in the air, and blame was being assigned. Inter-government contracts were signed that very year to prolong the thin layer of peace between the civilizations.
The peace continued until the fatal morning of August 6th, 2095, war was declared by the U.S. on China due to a stacking amount of hostile relations between the two governments on the growing number of possessed worlds.
The war raged on, but drilling and collection of non-terrestrial fuel continued, all the way up to April 24th, 2103. The United States had drilled into something on Titan. Some sort of ancient structure, not created by man. For some reason the subterranean-structure-exploration-device (SSED) hadn't picked up the structure. When humans got inside, they found endless amounts of carvings in the walls, as well as one stone board in a small room, with a single panel. It showed a map. A map of the Milky Way. And where did the map lead? To a planet. The planet known as Atro. The planet that held the great fortress known as the Citadel, situated at the natural oasis known to humans as the Crossroads. The activation of the map sent out a signal to just there. The crew investigating reported its confirmation and activity. In response, the US decided it was best left classifies, and drilling and the war continued.
A year later, a strange beacon crashed into the region of Titan known as the Machinus Canyon. Out stepped creatures man had never seen before. They arrived to the government installation on Titan known as Area 1-5-2. They demanded, in English, to see the leader of the base.
They had been watching us for a long time.
A very, long, time.
President Jacksfield was notified and the U.S. decided to allow them into the temple that had been hidden by Area 1-5-2, as well as meet President Jacksfield. They translated the wall carvings, explaining they had been looking for the temple for a long time, following a prophecy recovered on the moon of Primo, orbiting the planet known to humans as Methuselah, or PSR B1620-26 b. The carvings foretold the very thing that they had feared. The rising of an ancient darkness, one that lays in a sort of Bermuda Triangle-like abyss on the planet of Atro. How the darkness known as the Asbu would rise up on the horizon of a new age, and wage a legendary war against those that dared to dwell on the surface. They explained how they came as investigators for a type of United Nations of space to inspect the call. The call received by the Citadel on Atro. They explained how the Asbu had lived in the abyss known (apparently) as Agharta, and how they had no knowledge as to who prophesied these things.
Thus began the Earth's (or rather, the United Nations) acceptance into the Grand Council of the Citadel. The war against China for Titan's fuels and the land of the Sol system ceased, leading to a new age of exploration, peace, and adventure.
Things would never be the same again.
The year is 2122. The Grand Council of the Citadel still sits governing the people of the Milky Way from the Crossroads, still sitting over the ancient entrance to Agharta. The Council still looks for ways to keep the Asbu from escaping the abyss, but are met with no luck. All over the planet Atro, sightings of the ancient creatures known as the Asbu grow. No one knows how they are coming up to the surface, or what they want. Religions theorize its the coming of some foretold doomsday, whereas Atheists see it as nothing but another rumor to get people to join religions.
Whatever the case, the Asbu are coming up. But thats not the least of life's problems. Back on Earth of the Sol System, the United States is running a military campaign to capture and control the countries of Middle America.
Meanwhile, many thrill seekers and adventurers scour the unincorporated planets that lie dormant all over the Milky Way. The many possible technologies and treasures that haven't been discovered, luring them to their deaths.
You are living in this time period, and probably just drying to get by with the Krovoz (money) you have. Whatever the case, at this point in time, the galaxy is teeming with life and adventure.
Welcome,
to Greatness.
HISTORY
A01-Three bounty hunters took up the task of collecting the hundred billion Krovoz reward under the names Don Stellar of Earth, Telkota of Lelyamonus, and Mortar of Ünderworld. They were tracked and hunted throughout their hunt by Felix Psyce and the nicknamed Remenoodle. They were relentless in the chase. Eventually they captured Don, ransoming him for the artifacts to unlock the relic, and made off with the artifacts to their contractor-APOLLO sciences. They were ambushed above the drop-off planet, allowing the capture of Felix and retrieval of the artifacts. They later were able to access the ancient temple on the planet Metam in the outer rim. They claimed their reward while defeating the plague of Agharta. The galaxy is safe. For now.
Another note-Really the only way to access the main arc is to be a part of the Voyager crew, as they will be sort of creating and progressing through the arcs.

Fight Club // Jerven Trexi // Voyager Halls // 6:56 PM "The -blam!- you just say?" Jerven angrily asked of one of the fellow mercenaries onboard the supersized vessel as the pair circled one another. Jerven's glowing emerald eyes locked onto the blue pair of the human as he produced a rapier, the silver blade of the pointed sword matching the pair of gauntlets he wore. Jerven remained unarmed however, because this blue-skinned brawler wasn't really one to use a sword or pistol in a fight. That would certainly prove to be his bane in many encounters through space, but he hoped that he'd be fairly safe if he played the next encounter smartly. "I said that I'm surprised you're on a spaceship and not in prison. What, you take too many dicks in the mouth that they started stuffing cum in your ears?" The human said. "No, now stop trying to tell me your fantasies, I don't play for that team." Jerven retorted as his fists clenched and his cobalt shaded knuckles became a cyan colour, and more akin to his face's bluish colour. The sword wielding human just chuckled to the group that formed around the two, which was growing to become larger and larger with each passing second. Eventually the human and the remyre both came to a halt, and the swordsman lunged forwards in a swift stabbing motion, which warranted Jerven to step right. The blueskin delivered a strong punch to the swordsman's face which sent him recoiling back, as blood trickled down to his lip and dripped to the floor. The human came back strong though and punched Jerven in the left lower jaw with his swords hilt, which forced the remyre to fall on the ground. He hadn't broken bone seeing as remyre bones were near unbreakable without the aid of firearms or something of that sort, but it definitely did bruise Jerven's face and leave a fattened marking. He stood back up a second later as the swordsman went to stab at his stomach, which was a hit that just barely pierced Jerven as he stepped back. The crowd all shouted and hollered which would certainly attract attention, and the swordsman retrieved his blade from Jerven's gut. The swordsman walked away as blood started to stain the slate grey tee shirt Jerven wore. He wasn't going to die from a smaller scale flesh wound but damn did it hurt for him. So he decided to walk and find a medical wing of the supercruiser as a trail of blood would follow him, occasionally allowing itself to stain the steel floors beneath Jerven. Being weaponless in space was a retarded call, but that's the call he made. ((Open to the Voyager crew))
