Why no? It's your choice to wear a full set. If you want the bonus perk you would have to sacrifice other perks if it doesn't have the roll you want. It's all about choice and this game needs more choices. Currently this game has only one carrot to chase and that's light level, it has made the game bland for PVE.

I just explained why. Helemt. Super energy on grenade kills Gauntlets. HC loader Legs. HC ammo Sniper ammo Increased armor when using arc subclass It's hard enough to find those perks on an item with the int/dis/str you need. Do you know how many possible combinations there are just for the legs? It is much harder to get what you want in a full set. I've been here a year. I've had plenty of "full sets" of gear but they're no good to me if I don't use shotguns or fusions are they? They're no good to me if they have dis/str, int/str. What good is a shotgun/fusion loader or shotgun/fusion ammo perk in a raid? Increased rocket launcher ammo is useless to me in a raid or on ultras too. I dismantle anything that doesn't compliment my load out so I don't actually have a full set of gear. If you still don't understand, its about finding specific perks on specific armor with the right int/dis/str for your play style. Its not about sacrifice. Why should I be forced to use gear that is useless to me?

I know where your coming from don't get me wrong. I just want more depth to the game in general. Have you ever played D2? They had multiple sets and different tiers of stats. With how the RNG system favours armour drops in general it would be fun to collect.

I just find enough of a grind already. I had 3 Titans. Thats 3 of the same armor type from reward screen, packages and drops. I still don't have a HC reloader perk on my gauntlets with int/dis. As it is, im going to keep my mismatched armor going into RoI and probably right to the end of it. I'm not going to count on finding a full set of one type of armor, raid gear or other, with the perks and int/dis stats I want.

I treated destiny as a grind until recently, and I'm having more fun. I stopped caring about k/d and maxing out light level. I just want more unique things to do in destiny. Trust me for the past week I have been trying to get a rare shotgun for my Titan to complete the quest....

I know what you mean. I stopped caring about light level at 330. Stopped raiding after the April update. Haven't done a CoE for a month. I'm having more fun just mucking around on patrol, doing patrols and killing ultras for exotics. Playing with weapons I wouldn't use in a serious situation. Kd is important to me though not that I grind out much crucible. It just lets me know how much ive improved since I started. I guess when im decent enough I won't care either

Yeah crucible I still want to do good in it, no body like losing. Last night all I did was just shoulder charge the entire time and I was having a blast but so did my K/D.
