Make ToO worth while again! It takes no skill and is frustratingly boring
Trials was great once but now its just for talentless campers (the lowest form of gamer)... when it first started it was fun but now it requires no skill.. its just for people who smash blinkjump, camp out with shotguns and snipe people who cant even move yet..they abuse it for oppertunist farming because they arent good enough to get it in a 6v6 fastpaced game (like the rest of us do)...bring it back to the 3v3 skilled match it used to be! The best players i know won't play because the ToO community is just awful now. it was great at first then the asshats came in.. and the same map all the time sucks.... its like ToO is Destinys version of CoD.. Campy, talentless, and boring. But the ToO rewards are neat jhst not worth the pain of sitting through a long drawn out match of skilled vs not skilled teams. maybe add some variations to trials? add something to appeal to the gamers that want skill based matches. maby rotate what the trials matchtype is or alternate player count.. just something other than the same old map and dance everytime. It was so much fun at first, quick matches with respectable gamers... now its drawn out and frustrating because you dont get anywhere anymore.
Please make it great it again! Add something to the trials world please.

Like I know what you mean, I wish I'd see some more primary gameplay, I wish I can see some aggressive players that [b]aren't[/b] using meta weapons like GoM, TLW, or Mida, etc. I wish I wouldn't step into lobbies where, it's only a sniper battle. But shit, after you win the match, its total skill. Its almost 2x more challenging than year 1. The real reason why it was hard in year 1 was because of thorn, an shotguns, then the final round, but after all these nerfs, look at the crucible now. And tell me again, trials may have gotten I'd say more boring maybe less aggressive than last year. But to go flawless, (I did today) over a so an so amount of times, it's totally skillfull. I even got the sarab emblem some people actually want. Meanwhile I want the shaders.

2 RepliesYeah if you play with sniper and last word or GOM, you're guaranteed to win only if the other team isn't using that load out. Especially on long range maps! They camp and watch corners by hards coping and make sure to watch if a enemy is coming they have someone scope into the area where he is. Then if you try to shoot them they somehow still manage to shoot you in the head even though their eyeballs are gone by the bullets of the gun that you shoot at them. The maps are horrible designed and if you get spawn on a certain side you might have the advantage or the disadvantage. It's all about who had the better sniper and last word skill. Nothing else. You have to go in and be as try hard as possible to win an that's it. I myself use queen breakers and love it to death but I can't use it because I will have the massive disadvantage.. No Skill what so ever, just a game of pik-ah-booh :(

9 RepliesI am a little confused. Destinytracker suggest you have only ever been into trials twice: 8/5/2016 16 kills, 58 deaths, 0.28kd 7/24/2015 19kills, 57 deaths, 0.33kd Questions: 1. "when it first started it was fun " how would you know? 2. "now it requires no skill" then how come you got wrecked? 3. "it was great at first " how would you know? 4. " now its drawn out and frustrating because you dont get anywhere anymore" why not according to you it takes no skill? I have never been to the lighthouse because I am a pvp scrub. Perhaps you with your 0.79k/d should admit this as well????

Edited by Lunar the Mute: 8/9/2016 4:21:30 AMI've retired from Trials personally but still jump in if a friend needs me to help go flawless but anyways i've seen all the cancerous, annoying and Meta based tactics of Trials or basic PvP and it ruined the game mode completely for those who are new and wont to go flawless or those who haven't been able to because of the unfair pairing or annoying Metas. atleast it wasn't like the Thorn and Spray n Pray meta from year 1 though.
