I knew this day would come.
My adventure is coming to an end as Destiny moves into the exclusive world of the current generation of consoles.
It is for the best, as I have less and less time to devote to the fight.
This journey has only just begun, but I am proud to have been a small part of it.
So many great moments, and I shared most of them with my brother across the continent.
Destiny will always be a part of my entertainment story, a satisfying part.
Thank you Bungie for all the hard work and the calibrations you have poured into your product to bring one of the best games I have ever played to life.
Stay safe out there guardians.
AVMERM
Edit: Thanks for the feedback. I have chosen to upgrade my PC and will return if they port it there.
I will read about your heroic adventures in the meantime.
(As a Hunter main this probably needs more whine huh?)
Edit 2: Best moments in this game for me:
PVE: Trying to double the Abyss in Crota's end with my brother legit.
PVP: TRIALS OF OSIRIS. Easily the most frustrating but also the most exhilarating experience in this game. Some of the clutch wins and the epic fails in the 4:4 matches will never be outdone.
Favorite gear set: Iron Banner, by far. The Year 1 versions were especially awesome.
Last wish: That Bungie would change the OLD Raids so that PVE kills counted towards Grimoire so I could work on my 10k Warlock kills and 7 Raid clears needed to finish Legacy Score.
Edit 3: Thanks again for all the positive comments.
Not about money, just time. Looking forward to a single player game with a pause button. Probably get a decent PC and pick up ME: Andromeda next year. Destiny and its community are awesome but after years of online gaming I am looking for something more subdued. Maybe reading....haha.

Hey #Bungie, give this Guardian a next gen console! A non-salty and heartfelt post like this deserves it.
-
So what you're saying is.
nerf fusion rifles

Made You Look
No man's sky

And dear, you felt you needed to post this, why?

Reported for stating trials is 4v4

Farewell guardian
-
You can't get a PS4?
-
Lots of people say this, I've said it 2 times. Both times I've came back within 5-7 months. You don't know how much fun it is until you stop playing it...
-
It's a shame but to be fair the hype surrounding rise of iron shall quickly fade into complaints about EVERYTHING, and my god the nerf crying will be at an epic level. I've got Destiny on my ps4 but I'm not getting rise of iron. Simply because I don't want it. Instead I pre-ordered battlefield 1. For my destiny is done and dusted when I collect my chaperone tomorrow. Once I have that I have completed everything I wanted to do. Don't get me wrong I have nothing but fond memories of destiny but time for me to play other genres of game
-
I don't think Destiny will be coming for PC, unfortunately. As for me, I'm thinking of taking a break from Destiny. I had a decision between No Man's Sky or Rise of Iron and I chose NMS. It looks like a beautiful game and Sean Murray and his team did a great job. If you want a game for PC I suggest you get NMS (It's for PC and PS4).

Deuces

Just get the new system. They will be SOOO cheap this year with a new generation on the way for next year our old units will be cheaper than ever this year.
-
Bungie will never switch to PC - take a well deserved break, return to the real world for a while and then come back once you are refreshed. That's what I did, I took a 7 month break. I'm back, ready for the expansion :) Btw, you should get the Xbox one s if you were on Xbox 360, it looks pretty good! I already bought the Xbox one elite from last year so there's no point.
-
See ya quitter.
-
You'll be back, they always will.
-
Hope it gets a of port so perhaps I can run into you there. And may all your hits be crits.
-
I think we've all had that thought "I would probably be better off spending my time elsewhere" You last gen guys actually have a large step ahead of you next month. Do you step forward or jump off.
-
They nerfed last gen
-
Tldr: starting today start saving £1 or equivalent of 1 in your currency per day. Next year you'll he able to afford current gen. Good luck.
-
If your birthday is coming up....well....You should know the rest
-
You might as well give up on any current games if you don't just buy a new console.
-
Edit: Thanks for the feedback. I have chosen to upgrade my PC and will return if they port it there.
My life improved greatly when I bought a game console and stopped upgrading my PC for gaming.

I have a few things I'd still like to do on PS3 before all the players leave it, anyone want to help me with my bucket list?
-
Edited by Black Howling: 8/8/2016 2:14:56 PMYou can get a used current gen console for under $200. Get to hustlin'. See you in RoI, eventually.
