I have last played destiny in christmas time just before i upgraded from xbox 360 to the xbox one (i upgraded at the start of this year.)
Today i noticed that destiny the taken king: legendary edition is currently £25 on the xbox store.
And so i thought to myself.
Should i get destiny and start playing it again?
Edit: i am not starting a console war but i am saying this now.
I am not spending hundreds of pounds on a new console along with the game on top just to get a couple of exclusives it is seriously not work the money.
Edit 2: In the wise words of a PS fanboy who removed their comment minutes after posting it "muted for xbone/ reported for telling me how to post"
Can someone explain how that makes sense?
-
Hopefully you didn't, they just announced the collection upgrade
-
If you quitted early into the game like in 2014 don't go for one because it would already be like starting over again if you quitted in 2015 go for one
-
Wait because they will be releasing a new version that includes everything
-
Come to Xbox! If you need help with anything hit me up
-
PS4, man. Exclusives don't seem like much until you can't get em.
-
Get it for PS4 and leave that childrens toy behind.
-
Muted for xbone/reported for telling me how to post.
-
You should get it for the one, the reason is so you do not have to start from scratch on your characters.
-
No. Get it for PS4.
-
You should just said "should I get destiny for my current console" console wars are the worst. Other than that yeah you should
-
If all your mates are on xbox, go on xbox, I personally have a ps4 because I chose it as I prefer it's games. If you like the games on xbox, good for you mate. I'd get both consoles to be honest as I could get more games and not have to get involved with cancerous console wars

Edited by SoAnnoying: 8/9/2016 12:36:35 AM[Maybe] If you already have an Xbox One you should still be able to get the free trial version of Destiny from the online store. You can play all three characters up to light level 7 and see how it plays for you on an Xbox One. Good luck and good gaming....

I say yes, but hold off for a couple weeks and see what Bungie announces at Gamecom to see if they have anything regarding an edition that has everything.. Otherwise you're paying for the TTK and then paying for the RoI
-
Stay away from the ps community They have chubby feet
-
Seeing how a lot of the PS players are responding rudely, I'd get the xbox. I wouldn't want to be part of that community
-
Do it now if you are going to. In a week or 2 you will lose the ability to transfer your character from 360 to xbox one. IF you wait to long you will end up starting from stage 0.

Stay with Xbox & upgrade. The PSN community sucks
-
Just get it for PS4 you won't have to wait for exclusives.

Edited by MetDiamond263: 8/8/2016 1:26:45 PMCan pick it up second hand in game or cex for £8

I'd recommend it, it's definitely fun, better than it used to be... And it'll definitely get better as time goes on. Ttk was a big step in the right direction for destiny and I think while RoI is a bit smaller in scale, it could be even better especially since it's based around content this time rather than a complete redesign and overhaul of everything...

Do it! Always looking for new friends if you need help catching up with stuff. GT Fear the Doctor.
-
Wait til the 18th of this month there's a new edition coming out and I suspect it will include a rise of iron preorder
-
I was basically addicted to destiny last year but due to my friends either upgrading or finding new games i decided to stop playing as i had no one left to do events with. The only reason why i am asking about coming back is that the legendary edition is alot cheaper now then it was
-
Yeah man😃 do it. It's good to get back now bro, especially with the new Rise of Iron coming up only a month from now.
