G'day! So today my pallys and I were doing surprisingly well in a Trials of Osiris run getting up to 8 wins flawless. To be safe though we bought the mercy boon and ended up using it up against a team that was clearly not on the same connection as us, we had at least a 2 second lag time on dealing damage. But we had the boon so that didn't matter. we lost the match and after using up the mercy boon and went to search for another, different team to fight, hoping for that cracker, sweet, flawless, Mercury loot. We were then completely shattered to find that we got to verse the same team that we just lost against. I'm not 100% sure about this, but I have heard that you would not verse the same team twice in a row in a single ToO passage which, if you look at it both ways, is quite unfair as if you lost to that team before you would (not certainly) lead to losing twice to that team. From the other perspective, one team has just gotten two (not exactly) free ToO wins (in our case it was) which isn't exactly fair. So is it possible to run into the same team twice in one ToO?T his would be fine if it was on a different trails passage but to verse the same team twice in a row on the same passage is just plain absurd. Although I am not 100% about that, I am 100% certain that you did state that teams would be matched to those with similar connections in at which our first match against said team we did not at all have similar connections, as they proceeded to wipe the floor with us. This paired with versing them twice in a row caused us to lose our flawless run on eight and of course end up with nothing. As you might be able to see I am quite unhappy about this :(. Wrapping up, in a single trials passage I believe that you should not end up versing the same team twice and that the judging of connections might have to be a little sharper. -King Bin P.s The Thorn/Last Word/Vex/Red Death are all quite overpowered in, well, any crucible match but especially ToO. A simple but risky idea would be to make trials playable with only legendary weapons.
