How many others have tried this one dang mission solo and just can not beat it?! I don't suck. I'm not the best Destiny player out there, but I don't suck by any means. Why can't I get passed this? I've tried 50+ times. Not even kidding! Or do I suck....? 😂
I'm rolling with a Hunter 320
Using:
Grim Citizen III 324 (auto rifle)
Panta Rhei 323 (fusion)
I've been switching between my Thunderlord 317 (machine gun) and The Smolder 305 (launcher)

Think it took me 5 tries at the boss room. Otherwise it wasn't that bad.
-
It's not hard.
-
Is that the one where you need to kill the shade in the circular room? Just stand in that hallway you enter through at the beginning. The boss has a hard time hitting you, and the enemies only come from the front.
-
You should use Red Death to gain health back after every kill. Grim Citizen its a really bad weapon when compared to others in the game
-
It can be a thorn in your side but with enough patience and time you can do it. #Tamponmasterrace
-
Just stand in the door way and don't move from there. Very very easy even all those months ago.
-
I soloed it when it first came out. I think I was 250 light or so? Just takes a combination of strategic thinking and quick movement. There are like a gazillion videos on how to solo it. It did take me 5 or 6 tries, though.
-
I ran it solo when I was 305 light

Edited by InEsCaPaB1eFaTe: 8/7/2016 12:35:51 PMI've completed it solo. Sleeper stimulant.
-
Drop the add first then snipe the boss. Use heavy to help with adds DB and tether help with area lock down along with predator
-
I beat it solo. Twice.
-
Did it, on all 3. Not that hard. Planing and execution is everything.
-
Did mine the first time with Boolean and increased armor perk. Second time I used hung jury with the sleeper. Celestial nighthawk is great also.
-
Hang out in the doorway where you enter. Snipe the boss in the face 👍
-
I did it solo. Like most Taken encounters the most important thing is to kill the blights before you get overrun by adds.
-
Yep. Just hang out in the doorway you enter the room in and let everything come to you. Sleeper Stimulant melts the boss pretty quickly.
-
glad to hear it
-
Two words . Celestial Nighthawk.
-
314 hunter did it

Edited by xNIGHT_RANGEREx: 8/6/2016 7:50:50 PMTHANK YOU ALL for the tips!!! I FINALLY did it! 😂 You have no idea how many times I've tried! Destiny community is the best!!! 💜💙 I guess I do suck lol I'm the only one who couldn't get passed that stupid echo..
-
I did it solo at around 300 light.
-
Beat it solo on both difficulties
-
I didn't do the ToM one, but for the regular, I tried running around the perimeter. Terrible idea lol. I pretty much found one of the doorway "caves" on the side that has a clear view of the middle. Kill stuff as they come in, snipe boss when he's in view. Only thing you need to be careful of is phalanx's because they can smash you on the back of the hallway. Took 1 try when I did this method.
-
Dude start the mission and snipe the shade then clear adds before they overwelm you and when the shade is low use a celestial nighthack gg to the face to push the last remaining health. Dont rush the fight unless you have tons of high dps or damage output.
-
I've done it solo.
-
I tried it like 20 times. Use a exotic sword. It will make it so much easier.
