They had plenty of time to put everything in. You realize that they had destiny all ready for release then went through and cut a bunch of stuff and scraped a bunch of stuff. That is why the Destiny 1 story is so chopped up and unfinished. They went through last minute and changed a bunch of stuff. So they actually screwed themselves over when they did this.

My guess is that was an Activision thing.
-
Why do you point blame at everything other then Bungie. You keep acting like Bungie was completely innocent but if something good happens to the game you say Bungie did it but if something bad happens its Activision's fault. Again it's Bungie's game not Activision's game. While Activision has some pull it what goes on with Destiny, it is still up to Bungie what goes on with their game because Activision is just the publisher and not the creator.
-
Because, as far as I can tell, almost everything bad that has happened so far HAS been Activision. Bungie has done some stuff wrong, but not on purpose. They aren't some corrupt anti-fun mafia that wants nothing but money and the souls of the innocent like you are trying to portray them. Am I being somewhat ridiculous and over forgiving of Bungie? You tell me. Are you making them out to be the embodiment of pure evil and incompetence? Maybe that isn't your intention, but that's what it sounds like to me.
-
So if they don't just want money then when Luke Smith said something about throwing money at the tv he must have been an Activision employee and not a Bungie employee at the time. And yes you are over forgiving Bungie because I cannot emphasize this enough its Bungie's game not Activision's game.
-
Honestly, Luke smith needs to just go make the game and not talk anymore, but in the end, he is only human, and people make mistakes, that's fine as long as they don't make them twice. That is my problem with activision, they destroy games all of the time.
-
But Bungie has been making the same mistakes twice. Stop acting like Bungie is innocent of all mistakes but they are the reason why something good happens. You sound like you work for Bungie.
-
What mistakes have they made twice?
-
Edited by Elephant Head Saphy: 8/6/2016 3:44:56 PMWeapon balancing they have yet to get it right. And you can't say that it is Activision's fault.
-
Getting the same problem wrong twice is not the same as trying to answer that problem with the same answer that was just wrong.
-
That is literally making the same mistake twice dude. Failing to solve a problem doing the same thing twice in a row is literally making the same mistake twice.
-
Yes, the second example is, but that isn't what they've done.
-
So you are telling me Bungie hasn't been doing the same thing over and over to try and balance weapons for PvP. You are telling me they haven't nerfed this gun and turn around and nerfed this gun then nerfed this gun a week later. Because that is exactly what Bungie is doing and it still hasn't balanced PvP. Its making the same mistake over and over and over again. Hence. So you are right Bungie has not made the same mistake twice. They have just made it probably 20 times by now.

Edited by AggressiveBacon: 8/8/2016 7:14:05 PMNerfing isn't a mistake, it's better than buffing.
-
The reason the crucible is in the terrible condition its in is because of the nerfing. Nothing needed a nerf, if nothing got nerfed in the first place nothing would need buffed.
-
Some things definitely did need needed, just not as much as they were.
-
Nothing needed nerfed, people over use the word op and god like.
-
Edited by AggressiveBacon: 8/8/2016 10:10:32 PMYes, they over use it, but there have been things that were REALLY OP. Y1 Mythoclast Early sunbreaker Y1 TLW Thorn a little bit
-
Those things were powerful, not op. But you would rather have the piles of junk they are now then what they used to be?
-
For PvE, I want buffs, but at the same time, I don't want Destiny to become call of duty.
-
So you don't want destiny to have a balanced PvP? And if you didn't notice destiny has been slowly turning into a Call of Duty type game to were almost all the focus is on PvP versus PvE, in which Destiny started as a mainly PvE game.
-
A-Wrong, I don't want it to have a .25 second ttk on every gun. B-I know, and that is part of why RoI and Destiny 2 will be good, they are steering back toward PvE.
