I've had several weeks prior to this that everything went without a hitch. I went Flawless twice for two weeks, then Asylum hit. Completely hate Asylum so I skipped out after testing the waters a few times.
Last week's Asylum was just a terrible map for me, but connections were an issue in games 6-7+ consistently.
This week I tried playing one card, first match:
My two teammates' connections immediately sink to Red, then finally go green.
A single enemy on the other team who was presumably green goes completely red.
I can tell they're red bar because they stand still when I rush them, almost as if they don't see me.
I can tell the connections suck because I literally miss entire bursts on a player in Pulse range consistently.
Am I red bar in all of this? My screen doesn't say as much, but it feels like I was a red bar.
Next round in I'm getting 'Contacting Destiny Server' errors.
D/C'd just after taking two sniper bodies.
Considering my Internet hasn't changed in months and the players I team with haven't changed in months, and I'm still encountering these issues this early into a card...
Your matchmaking team can go squanch themselves. They're awful at their job.
I can play literally ANY other game and have almost no issues. Smite? Halo Wars? No problem, Hell, my friends who green bar in DESTINY have more issues on Smite. But the moment I touch this game, suddenly everything goes to Hell. Like it's biased towards something other than connectivity enough to jeopardize the connectivity of the match to the point of Disconnects and rampant lag.
For the millionth time, fix your matchmaking and do your best not to make excuses.
At this point I'm not sure what's worse, your matchmaking or your cheating policy. Sometimes I wonder if the cheaters don't cheat just because they're tired of your laughable excuse for competitive matchmaking.
At that point, I can't say I blame them. They're just doing what they can to fix the way your mistakes impact their fun. Maybe if you didn't pretend everything was completely fine, you'd actually make some decent changes.

Edited by TheKungLao: 8/5/2016 11:23:53 PMYesterday, every other match of pvp, I was weaseled out. Played pve for a while afterwards with no problems. Hope they fix this soon. Edit: This is the most disconnects I've experienced in a short time span since I started playing Destiny. Haven't had the desire to log on today because of it.
