But the thing is, even if you do dislike DoT, there are better options already. Like Gheleon's artifact.
No need to worry about DoT if you're given improved information of where your enemies are. Gives you a big upper hand, while if you're hit by nearly any DoT ability, you're still going to be 1-2shot 'til death even without high number ticks.

I agree there are better options. It's just that the 2 most complained about things have DoT. Thorn and firebolts. Even though they're both nerfed and not used anymore....

Thorn is gaining use recently. Firebolt use has gone down and I'm happy. All I'm saying is that Silimar's artifact should have a bit something extra to make it a better choice than it is, because it doesn't eliminate or reduce the duration of the burn. Just reduces the damage any burn deals.
