"To all the people who bought Evolve... Thank you!"
"To all the people who played Destiny on P360... Thank you!"
See any difference? I actually hoped and waited for the game to become an interesting and fun experience, avoiding the fact that a game must have satisfactory content from the start, and that's Bungolos thanks people for continued support through paying for DLC? What will be so significant in terms of improvement to justify leaving last gen behind? Increased vault space? Wow, never was a grinder to collect every piece of armor to ever think that it should be expanded, and I think I'm not the only one like that.
Honestly, just looks like an excuse to avoid spending more time resizing textures and coding for them to fit in-game. If I actually missed any other improvements they promise to make, are they really that significant?
You can't drop a wall for last gen IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME.
What scares me most is that if such a strategy is successful, other companies may follow in Bungie's footsteps.
RIP last gen I love you
P.S. PS2 had PES13 on it, talk about continued support.

Anybody who actually thinks that Bungie is using this as a chance to make the game better is blatantly deluded. Like, the evidence is right there in front of you that they won't, and you still think so? I mean, what, do you guys think that they can now make crazier new enemy types that couldn't exist on last-gen? Well, you're wrong, last-gen can already handle the Fallen. Having more Fallen isn't going to change that. Do you guys think the environments will be crazier and more interesting? Well, you're wrong, last-gen can already handle Earth. Painting it white doesn't really change anything. Do you guys think the exotics will be crazier than you could ever dream of? Well, you're wrong, last-gen already had Gjallarhorn. Painting it jet-black doesn't really change anything. ... look, I'm not necessarily saying there won't be ANYTHING that justifies the transition, but nothing we've seen has proven that the transition was necessary, either. So saying that the transition was required so that Bungie could do bigger and better things... well, someone should get that memo to Bungie, since I don't think they know.
